Omelettes sound yummy, Twink. But I hope none of your DS's friends are allergic to eggs. You might want to check. It's a pretty common allergy

Two weeks from cruise time, Marita? Moo Hoo!
Really? I guess for scrambled eggs I would agree. I hate not having enough food. We are making omelettes in ziploc baggies- ever done that? it is DS's favorite meal (well besides fried chicken, fried shrimp or a nice filet mignonTwink[/B]....39 eggs for middle schoolers will not be enough. If it was me I'd prolly stick to pancakes or French toast. Everybody likes their eggs a different way here at our house....too complicated.
PS we also subscribe to the milk-your-birthday-for-all-it-is-worth philosophy
Tomorrow is DSbonusboy's friend party. We will be hosting 5 teenage boys for a "slumber" party.
I asked him if they were going to do makeovers, have pillow fights and talk about who is cute. The resulting eye roll was impressive.
Instead we will go out for dinner at Pizza Planet (Ok so that isn't the real name, but that is what I call it),then settle in for hours of movies and video games. I am cooking brunch the next morning. How many eggs do we need for 5 teenagers, 3 twinkie children and 2 adults?

Me too! well sometimes I do use R and U but only because it really does save time.OMG(osh)! I love that commercial! Misty is a texter. I can tell by reading her.
When I text, I write out each word and punctuate.![]()
I wish you were coming!!!! And BBN too- who will keep me company on the midnight run for Doritos, Sugar, Girls, and Whiskey?UberCoolMama said:I wanna come! I could be your over the hill ultra un-cool mom-friend who tries to be cool. I'll bring my CD's.
Once I got over the shock of needing 39 eggs (I agreed with his calculations btw) it is a (relatively) cheap, easy and fun way to feed a crowd.
I don't get this. Please explain. We are making omelettes in ziploc baggies- ever done that?
I should have just pretended he wrote in a journal at home, shouldn't I? Maybe it would counterbalance my juice box way of mothering.![]()

I only use "u" or "r" when I've run out of room and don't want to start a whole new message just to say "You."well sometimes I do use R and U but only because it really does save time.
Marita- about your dog, are you an Ogden Edsel fan? As in Dead Puppies Aren't Much Fun.
Happy Friday, MOOvers! I'm at work today (ick), and instead of my usual in-early, out-early Friday, I came in at noon and will be stuck here until 4-ish. Came in late because Natasha had a school concert this morning. What a hoot! Each class had their own song to sing plus a poem to recite, and then the entire group sang several songs together. Oh, the talent!![]()
Today's annoying Crazybossman antics include a 30-minute rant about the office electric bill (yup, sitting in the dark again) and a lengthy and painful (for me) discussion about how he and his wife are trying to conceive a baby. This is imagery I just ought not to have in my head. KWIM?

I was hoping I could drum up some interest in a chat for later. Any takers?
Ah young padawan- let me explain. This is all part of my brilliant plan.To elementary and middle school students- parents are deaf, blind and dumb as long as they are engaging in some "mindless" activity like driving or cooking. So, I will stay up late chopping veggies and dicing ham oh so quietly in the kitchen. The youngsters will play their video games and watch their movies in the family room and after a while I will have more knowledge of what is "going on" than in a hundred heartfelt talks with DS.Even easier if you have a publix near you - they have pre diced veggies for sale. Woo! Love them!
I don't get this. Please explain.

DTD- thanks for checking in! Did you go to math camp too? Ogden Edsl was a popular one for campfire singalongs.... haven't thought about that in years and now that song is stuck in my headMissing Moover reporting in.
