I'm watching golf too! I totally love it to pieces. It was either that or gymnastics. Those girls are BUILT. I bet they could crush a human skull between their knees. Or something. I just want to make fried chicken for them with a side order of cellulite.

It's my son and his GF's 2 year anniversary today. Yayy! I'm coaching him on his gift and impressive moves he can wow her with. Like , what was she wearing on your first date? (dunno). Two roses are more symbolic than a dozen (blank stare). I think he's taking her to Joe's Crab Shack. Aaaaaaw! You'll recall, he took her to the Red Lobster for Prom. Classy! I think it's cute he's still twitterpated .

I am content in every aspect of my life. Or is that whatsoever every aspect of my life?

I'm spending the day at the library. Our final senior research project is due on March 12. It's like a 30 page paper. I'm looking through thrilling educational journals right now. Since this is a portion of the teaching certification process I decided to take it seriously and start now. Hey, we've had the assignment since August, I'd say now's a good time to start it, no?

My DD just e-mailed me what she has done so far on her master's degree paper (about 15 pages) with a request to proofread it. She also thought her dad and I might like to read it as it summarizes what she worked on during her summer job that expanded beyond the summer! I think she's made a great start on it.

She also let us know that she has an internship for this summer

I've had a lovely bumlaying and napping day except for a trip to the lumber mill this morning to get some wood to make a desktop for the bedroom. We got a nice panel of quarter sawn oak boards already glued together for half off! DH is going to cut it to size We'll see how that goes. I need it for a larger TV that will be easier to see without my glasses

Moo! I went to Lowes today. We were short 10 sheet rocks but ended up getting light switches and plugs...for the basement that is coming along nicely. It started rain/snowing (goodbye Spring!) so we didn't get the sheet rock or it'd get wet.

It's fun planning a lodge style basement! My creative juices are flowing!

You're right, Marita - I did say it on that thread BUT the TF bestowed my tags because I had made a rare visit to the Riddle Thread!

I think my daughter's pretty happy about the internship. It wasn't the first place she interviewed but she was happy that she'll be able to get Internet when she is working on this farm. BTW, bbn will be interested to know my DD will be working on a goat farm. Mehhhhhhhh!!!

Wendy, my dentist has one of her rooms decorated lodge style. She has a pole with black bears climbing up it in the corner It must help make her think she's "up north" during work! I have seen several of those Trading Spaces and other design shows do lodge decor.

Marita, you need to "get out" more! Did you do any shopping? I am currently fairly well provisioned. Had a small glass of wine with some French bread DH brought home. Yum.

Where's Nabbie today? Snowed in? We got a couple more inches of the nasty white stuff here this morning.
