nurses..first, they changed my
life, second..they are the most practical..tough ..people around.
one down fall..are their relationship..they often pick..losers...in the sense
..of trying to help them [ my impression]. but in general, they support
life systems...better than any other group around. health care?...
go to the nursing care floors & listened..!
oh, she can't believe she has had mi, noticed...she wants to come
back to work....i think she might weigh..100 lbs..soaking wet...&
jus by the nature of the work...facing bodily harm..they don't blink
an eye! there is no way, not to admire..such a person.
working with mental deficits is totally different than those out to
kill. and the differnces can be illustrated. * to prevent those using
as a "cover".
you be surprise..how those shuns by society..would
to live
on out floor. & you might be surprise, those with serious deficits..
are not stupid...and appricate every lil thing. in reality, they are
very protective of the staff..when those threatening us for drugs,
and/or those trying to kill staff.
fyi, the principles ..i used ..were developed..over all the years
gathering data..and refining..for supporting pt. specfic needs. alot
of the interventions..i am selecting..a casual observer would never
noticed..but it is based on concrete/easy to understand.., measurable
[ pt.'s gains], and can be used again & again. when iam work, even
my greetings..are with purpose. i feel i get paid..good $ & i am very
serious..of the results..being for their benefits. however, it is a
"joke"..popularity or politics...* i absoulte refused to do things for
approval...that are harmful to another person well being. pafication
is not an intervention..interesting, those who do it..are most often
hit. our goal is to restore their highest levels of functioning to
resume community living, while chosing "what" they want their lives
to be.
mental health ...isn't crazy..but things...you already understand but
seldom think about...by negative/positive...expectations. becos..there
were so many...having diffculties with reality..i decided on one
single defintion..reality is your 5 senory preceptions sending signals
to your brain for anaylsis but where the final determinations are effected
by culture, health, and your value system. why?..cos facts are part
of reality...but can be of delusional thinking to,..so they must be separated.
* and because they can..means...there is no alternations in thought, that
cannot be corrected. remember? i like things that work~
get that? facts..can be misleading...becos they can be maniuplated..by
men..well women too.

a nusing supervisor tried to say...it almost cost us one of our nurses'
life. all human life is special, i despised seeing it lost thru stupidity.
..i find..out what i was working with..it's the life pack 20. ok?...when
i last work....the most advanced..was life pack 5. wow!..this "baby" has
a pacemaker...ok? fyi, that would been nice to know..cos she was
having sustained..v-tach..& the thought occured [yesterday] ..that
we might needed a pacer...& no code nurses...
