Ok OK!

Here's what I use:

Philosophy everything. Their "Hope In A Jar" is great.

MUST use Bare Minerals. I kid you not, it's fabulous. Has built in SPF.
Stay out of the sun/ use spf
Use satin pillowcase.

Sheesh, SNL isn't on here till 10:30. In a half hour. You people must be from thefuture!

Thanks, Wendee!!!!!! Got it bookmarked :thumbsup2

PJ, DO NOT MOVE TO FLORIDA!! 87 today.

Well, maybe you could be a snow bird and live here in the winter, but you are a little young for that.
Oh, I complained about the heat all last summer when I was in Orlando. The bbn may be able to confirm that. :rolleyes1 And I'm sure I'll complain all this summer if I'm there. Why did Walt have to put Disney where it's so dang hot? When you walk out the door and can't even breathe, that's a problem for me.

IDK. Something about a job. :confused3
What kind of crazy people relocate just for a job? :confused3

GOOG MORNING!

You all stayed up after I went (back) to bed. Emily ended up spending the night with one of the friends she went to the movies with. Glad I stayed up.

Rob pm'd me his picture. And he IS a good looking guy after all! Let the stalking commence. :cool2:

Today is quiche day again. I only made 16 quiches on Friday and two full trays of hash brown casserole. Cuz every college student likes something cheesy with their cheesy quiche. Right? We are also having my personal favorite...spinach salad with mandarin oranges, strawberries, and poppyseed dressing. Maybe I'll just have that. And muffins.

PJ! I'm sure there are cake walks all over the greater Cincinnati area....you just have not participated in one. Yet.

Twinks....I was chairman of the cake walk for many, many years at said school carnival. I loved it because it was the only "inside" job at the carnival. It was weather proof. ALL the mommas would drag any baby that was old enough to walk around the circle and several would take home more than one cake. Now that DS is at that school, I just keep my head low and avert my eyes. I'm too old to be in charge of stuff for the PTA now.

Wendee....Chemical peel sounds painful. I'll stick to good ole exfoliation.

Gotta run pick up Emily and head to church.

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. --Galatians 5:22-23

Glowy Sprite Lady- I'm going to a dreaded family-fun BBQ today after church and think I'll make a similar salad. Mandarin oranges, spinach, baby greens, sliced almonds, red onions, grape halves...with poppyseed dressing. I also have been instructed to bring potato salad because my homemade one is da-bomb. BUT, I hate making it for every single cook out so I BOUGHT a container of the red potato one at the Costco. Good, but doesn't touch my homemade one. Hopefully the family won't expect me to make the good one so much. :snooty:

I still haven't touched the cookies I /we made. I put them in (4) gallon-sized ziplock bags and stuck them in the trunk-o-carbs, where all the other forbode goodies go. DH is getting fat.

Quiche sounds good. Or maybe some kind of frittata?

I love when my kids sleep over elsewhere. One less boy, and my house is very peaceful for some reason.

Chemical peels are only painful if you leave them on because the DIS distracts you. Even then, it's not too bad. I do look glowy from it. I use the 2 part Philosophy one. Smooth as a baby bum, for a little while anyway.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!!

edited to add: My TMJ is feeling a lot better but still hurts but as long as I'm on an anti-inflamitory (the Motrin 800) I'm able to at least open. I have a referral to a Maxio-Facial Sugeon/ TMJ Disorder specialist. I didn't even go to my dentist, I just talked to his office person on the phone since I was a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) for 12 years, I knew what I was talking about. Saved my copay! NICE.

1. I so know what you mean Melinda (though I'm a night owl so it's usually not a big deal to me to stay up). I love when I drive over to pick them up and then they ask if they can spend the night. Similar is I love when DS15 calls me on my cell phone while I am enroute to pick him up from his church youth group to tell me that they have decided to go out somewhere to get something to eat and he'll call later for me to pick him up from the restaurant instead of the church.
2. Thanks Melinda! I'll PM you my real name and address to make it easier for you. ;)
3. I was thinking similar Melinda. I'm not sure I would judge the availability of cake walks in the Cincy area based on the sample size of a single college student, no matter how smart and wonderful she might be.

I love when my kids sleep over elsewhere. One less boy, and my house is very peaceful for some reason.
Same thing here Wendee. DS12 has been talking about attending band camp ("one time, at band camp") and there is an overnight one about a hundred miles from here or a day one here locally. DW said, "no, you're not going to Maryville". I said, well, it WOULD get him out of the house for a week.

DS10, on the other hand, is one of those perfect children. So perfect, you waiver between wondering how you were so blessed to thinking he's going to really snap one of these days. He is the type of kid that other parents frequently ask for him to spend the night at their house because he has a calming influence on their household's peace level. When he's gone, I don't notice that our house is any less peaceful but it's not any more peaceful either. You can have DS7 or DS12 over any time you want though. No, really, you can.

NOOOO thank you. Boys are rowdy and loud. Not that girl's aren't. WWF imitating and light-saber-fights-that-always-go-wrong and arm pit farting is SO not my cup of tea. I'll take the sweet one. I'll teach him some serious arm pit farts. :cool2:

Baseball practice was cancelled today because it is too cold and wet out and DS7's team is not a serious enough team to find an indoor place to practice in (which is fair -- I don't think that a League team should be worried about cancelling a practice at age 7).

So, instead my four boys, the six boys from across the street (two different homes), and the tomboy from down the street are all out in our cul-de-sac playing baseball.

Yes Marita, I did notice BUT check pages 199 and 200....

*cue twilight zone muzak*

somehow all the posts from June to Dec 2006 are missing:confused3 where we that naughty? ( i think this was pre hotT college chix so we can't blame therm)

I noticed because the original Manna story was on or about Oct 16 2006.

on the other hand: I noticed myself posting complaints that I had toadily forgotton. Things that were big deals at the time (camera broke, DH lost his job, etc etc) that are not even a blip on the radar now.

Life is good.

2. Alright, people, I wasn't saying there weren't cake walks in the Cincinnati area, period. What I was trying to say is that I've never been to one. I was joking by acting like that means there are none to be had. I guess I failed miserably. Sheesh!

Like we ever do anything naughty anyway.
