Allie- Quite the adventure there! :lmao: I think your knew knickname should be GooseGirl. I hope you get good news about your neighbors son.

Ok just call me GG! ;) :rotfl2:

The neighbors did get a bit of good news today. He was seen on the bank camera withdrawing money from a local bank on Monday. He was with someone, and the police are gonna be questioning them soon.

Don't worry. She is a freakin' genius.

Mooving on to another topic:

You know what is wrong with having no junk food in the house so you will be forced to eat healthy and lose weight and look hotT in your non-cereal bikini?

You have no junk food in the house. Sigh. Even the pretzels are fat free. Yuck.
:rotfl2: I was just discussing this with another female DISer last night. I know what you mean (well, not the looking hotT in your non-cereal bikini part). This past weekend when I was rooming with the baseball team (see the photo of the luxurious accomodations below), we all had to eat healthy because we want the players to eat healthy and we were in the same room they were. So I had to do 30 hours of no greasy food, no candy, no pop, no corn chips (or fake corn chips).

I seriously need to learn to sew. I am newly addicted to looking at fabrics online and wanting to buy them for slings that I cannot make. I did find a nice white gauze for 2.50 a yd. that I am getting for a no sew sling. I can handle hemming the edges. But that's about where my skillz end. ;)

I found a really pretty twill that I want to make a pouch sling out of. Those directions are greek to me though.

And I forgot. Speaking of Pooj(es) We had a doozy today. Chad and I went to Babies R Us to spend some more shower money....as I was getting Isaac out of his seat, just about to get him into position to put him in his sling I saw it. Mustard all over his legs, chunky even. What a mess. We used every wipe and then some wet ones my parents had in their car. Yuuuuuuuuck.

No SODA for 30 hours? Good Gravy, THAT is insane?

I think I would've just dipped him in the toilet, held his lower half there and flushed once.
heh.
just kidding.
sorta.

MommyP- ahhh the joys of motherhood. Mustard included. :cool2:

Did you have a spare outfit or buy him a new one? Well? What cool baby stuff did you get? I love that store! (loved)

You need to go to the Disboutiquers thread on the Family Board and look at all the COOL stuff these mamas have made. There's a photo album link on the first page. No one has made a sling I don't think...you should share! Lots have done cute fabric covered wipe boxes..tres chic.

Even NON sewers have gotten great starts here. Celery and I are there so you have a comfortable "IN".

I agree with wendy, mommyp.
Join the dark side!
it's addictive.
and sickening.
cuz these people are talented.
Not THESE on this thread.
I meant on the boutique thread. ha.

I really want heather or teresa (sisters that post and I get them mixed up) to make me a giselle dress for the pirates and princess party.
argh.

I went to michael's today to look for fabric and forgot they don't sell fabric.
:(

I've been clean and sober since friday.

With only enough caffeine/hooch to thwart my headaches...for medicinal purposes like methadone for meth addicts (which I'm not).

I've not been as cranky as I thought I'd be. :confused3

Oh Good! My Name is Earl, the Office, Scrubs etc. are all new tonight!

I need to lay down with a heated rice-sock on my cheek again. I can't imagine what I did to it but geeez! Plus it's giving me a fever? Hmmm. Infection in my ear? I get x-rayd tomorrow.

And weighed

PJ - Congrats on your job offers!!
Thanks, MommyP! :) Hope your rash situations are starting to clear up!

Brentwood to north of the river and mamacantfindya can only be two hours if you go 110mph the whole way. And maybe you do. But I'd say it's more like 3 since you have to go THRU Nashville and Loouhvull. You better start looking in Loouhvull or Etown or maybe Lexington to be within reasonable stalking distance.
Etown. :lmao: PJ thanks you for that useful post. I am sure the babynurse thanks you for it too because she really likes having me as her stalker and wants to know when I'm moving closer.

peej - what melinda said.
Not that I'm a stalker, but I think babycow is on the north side of Loo-uh-vul.
(I was in the atlanta airport Monday and some yahoo pronounced it "louie-ville" over the intercom. :sad2:)
The best twinkessori schools are going to be in south nashville (in MY county - not even really IN nashville).
So it'll be at least 3 hours to stalk the babycow.
but I think it's worth it.
especially if your sister goes to one of the schools in Nashville.
but I'm selfish and just want a diser close to me. hee.
I see how it is. You just want me closer to you so you can stalk me! :cool2: It always comes down to stalking with you, doesn't it? :sad2: Not that I am going to base where I move on anyone but me, but my younger sister and I have gotten infinitely closer this past year d/t issues with Hollywood (long story) and I would love to have her close to me.

I like Lucky Charms. I have no problem with bikinis. However I really don't want to know any more about this.
Neither did I. Rob likes to paint himself as the innocent one and act all normal but please just know that is not the case. I'm going to leave the Lucky Charms/bikini thing alone now.

PJ: That was a GREAT contract you were offered.
Hey, maybe I was in the mood for a challenging position. Maybe I wanted to test my limits. Basically, harumph to you.

Don't worry. She is a freakin' genius.
Now that statement I saw. Don't know if I noticed anything else today or not.

I lost my Nab quote. Stupid DIS. I think you said congrats to me and I was going to say thanks and make a comment on your kitchen situation. But I've lost it. (the quote I mean, not my mind. at least for the time being)

I sent one of my babies to the principal for the first time today! :scared1: I didn't want to do it but the little bugger was asking for it. She whipped him into shape and I think he fears me now too. Which is of course the goal. KIDDING.

I babysat again tonight. It was parent-teacher conferences for the kids. The 6 year old is autistic so he's an adventure for me and apparently for his teacher, too, from what the parents told me of the conference!

Headed to the gym. :sad2:

WHAT a day here today! Cereal bikinis, creative BFing, blowouts, stalking strategies, Cel no longer crushing on WT, etc., etc., etc.!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Typical day at work for me :rolleyes1

Moo...thanks for all the pixie dust and the purple font to match my colored, scented resume. ;)
You're welcome, PJ! Hope it is not too difficult to make a decision on the job front

I am totally itchy all over. I hate scabies. I'm sure I don't have it, I'm just imagining it. lol.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I found a rather large black widow in the corner next to the back door. (inside) Scary stuff.
Ugh, MommyP! I always felt itchy back in the day when my DD brought home notices about others in her class having head lice :scared1:

That is indeed scary about the spider. I HATE spiders. My sisters and I got that phobia from our mom :scared:

Moo-- Loved the Meatloaf commercial , too funny .

My kitchen is coming along slowly. He is drywalling today so I am in a dust bowl. The weather has been good so I have been outside with the kids at night and by the time we come in and get ready for bed I am ready too. Major painting to by next Tuesday when the floor people are suppose to come.
Glad you liked the commercial, Nabbie! I don't know whether Pumba looked at it . . .

:woohoo: Yay for progress on the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!

New shows on TV tonight

Cel, I'm going to look to see if there are any cute pirate/princess t-shirt designs on Zazzle. Which Giselle dress are you thinking of, the turquoise curtain one?

The Police found my neighbor's son! :yay: Thank you for all your prayers and PD. :wizard: But boy, I wouldn't want to be him right now. :rolleyes1 I know they are relieved to have him back, but I'm sure they want to string him up by his toes too. :rolleyes1

PJ, I thought of you today while I was substituting for the four year old teacher today. It was PJ day. ;) I had somewhere to go after school so I didn't wear my PJ's, but I did wear my robe over my clothes, and wore my slipper socks. The kids were cute by saying, "Miss Allie, you're sweet." Made my head get a little BIG. Then another girl in the class, who can't stand to be outdone, said, "Miss Allie, I think you're sweet AND brilliant!" :lmao: It just made me laugh 'cause she is the same kid who has told me in the past that I was mean. :confused3

Goog Luck with your job decisions. :thumbsup2
