Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!

That is what we will be yelling tonight. Because we are true fans. That means even though KU is our second most hated team evah, they are playing UNC-CH so we are rooting for them.

robIn - I still haven't seen casablanca. Just that one scene in the great movie ride over and over. :lmao: It's on my list.

lil blue - Congrats! I was just reminiscing the other day about how we got pics of TJ live and in the hospital!!!

twinks - You are too cool for school. heh.
And I read naked once more and like it ok, but I reread the amelia peabody ones.
wait a minute. I was supossed to send some of them to you.
hmm.
next time you're in Franklin, swing south a bit and you can go through my closet.
hehehe.

Hey moo.
Our trip is getting close!
doesn't feel like I'm really going yet.
hmm.

I feel wuckety today.
Like I might have a stomach virus.
I felt like this last night too.
the thing is, it's not possible for me to throw up anymore, which is good.
I'd just get dry heaves.
I just forced myself to eat cuz I didn't eat last night -
and what sounded good before I ate doesn't feel so good now. :(
I ate broccoli, corn and low carb spaghetti sauce mixed with hamburger.
HA!
Great choice for someone feeling bad, huh?
I'm an idiot.
Cel, sorry you're feeling wuckety today  Hmmmm, broccoli = gas production . . .

Regarding the trip, are you going to be around to chat tonight? I need to make the reservation for my flight home soon. How would you feel about going to the Pirate & Princess Party? :rolleyes1

I'm jealous....I think! lol

Does this mean I get to visit you in the hospital again? We'll bring the horses. The kids can ride in the parking lot. I'm so excited for you!!!!

CONGRATS.

BTW, I'm ok everybody. Just a little medical drama, but I am pretty private about these things, so I haven't shared with the group. Thanks for understanding. I'm getting better each day. Have a good weekend.

According to Mr. Twinks, then you are not a true fan :rotfl:

Apparently Beyonce got married Friday, just as babynurse had some "medical drama"... has anyone seen them in the same room at the same time?

Mazel tov BbN! I mean, get well soon!!!!

Hi Moovers. Just been real busy and I'm falling asleep every time I sit still 5 minutes. I'm in Loo ih vil for the weekend and not real busy. We;re going to roller derby(for reals) tonite, then watching the end of UNC-KU game.
I now have a second job. A feiend of mine manages food service at job corps, a place waaayyy back in the woods, and they can't keep help, so I'm gonna help him cover while a cook is out for surgery. It gets me on the payroll, and when(it is a matter of time) the Forestry Department takes over and it becomes a federal job, I can take a position at 18 bucks an hour as head cook. Cross all appropriate digits for me.
movies - I love old movies, but there's a lot I haven't seen.
I finally watched citizen kane and didn't like it. Thought it was overrated.
But I thnk I love every jimmy stewart movie I've ever seen.
there's one from maybe the 60's where he has grown kids and they all come to his beach house -
it's hilarious!
can't remember the name though.
Jimmy Stewart is my favorite. 3 of his movies are in my all time top 10, Harvey (#1), It's a Wonderful Life, and You can't Take It With You. You also need to see It Happened one Night with Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.
BTW, I know where BR and Miley live. My niece was the youth minister at their church Miley's first year in youth.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is a godsend (Godsend? hmm, not sure whether to capitalize that or not) and American Movie Classics (AMC) sometimes show good stuff too (if you can stand the commercials -- I don't mind commercials except that I know TCM does NOT have them so it irks me that AMC does).

That's Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation. I admitted I cheated though and looked it up on www.imdb.com . My favorite 1960s Jimmy Stewart movie is Take Her, She's Mine, where his daughter goes off to college and he gets worried and tracks her down at college and then follows her to Europe for the same reason.

-- Rob
In BG we get Fox, AMC, and TCM along with all the encore channels in a 4 buck bundle. Most have no commercials. But AMC has cowboy movies on Saturday mornings that are the best.

I'll be cheering for Kansas for bad reasons too. My bracket disintedrated but my team at work has Kansas, so if they win it all, we all get dinner for 2.

Regarding the trip, are you going to be around to chat tonight? I need to make the reservation for my flight home soon. How would you feel about going to the Pirate & Princess Party? :rolleyes1

I should be around for chat. I took a nap, so I should be able to stay up. heh.
Pirate and princess party sounds fun, but doesn't that mean staying another night for you? :rotfl:

donald - No stalking! Just tell me if you want to come to fabulous chez Ambre'
hehehe.
it is FABULOUS! I tell you what.

 to babycow

Back from round one of our skating.

Hannah did great she was all smiles. They have some really good skaters in the club. Hannah's instructor ranked 2nd in Canada for young male division. And there was a couple skating that were 13 years old. He did lifts and everything. It was pretty cool to watch.

We have to go back for the 6:30 show.

Lil Blue --- congrats, hope you we keep us updated or at least a picture when he or she arrives!!! T.J. must be getting really big by now and getting into everything.

Babynurse -- Hope you feel better soon. We just worry about you when your not around, your part of our family you know missy. I hi I am still living is good enough.

Donald -- a second job and going to all your games. You are going to wear yourself out.

Twinkie-- all still count doesn't matter how you got them. :lmao:

I will try to make chat tonight. I am sure I will be home late after the show because all the costumes have to be returned etc.

DTD, all appropriate digits are crossed for you!
I called around 3 for a nail appt. (which I know I said many times I hate) and got 6 pm. So I took a nap. Now I am starved, but no time to get my new favorite Jr. Whopper and small fries, and I don't want to get it with freshly done nails.

Dang!!!!!!!

BBN, feel better

I like old Doris Day Movies! "Move Over Darling" "Lover Come Back" "Pillow Talk" etc. sooooo awesome!

Ok, I know I'm 5 conversations behind. I'm just pissy I didn't realize there was chat going on. What'd I miss?

Lil Blue- Congratulations! What a blessing!

BabyNurse :grouphug: :flower3:  :guilty:

Wendee, chat is not till 9:30 tonight!

Oh, and I asked my son about what he wants me to cook before he leaves.

He said Cabbage rolls!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared1:
Do you know how much work that is??????
And liver and onions of course.

And I have to taxes this weekend

OK, I am off to buy a pound of hamburger to make delicious :cool2: Hamburger Helper Stroganoff after I get home from suffering an hour of totally boring nail time. Oh, I better get some bisquits too.

Little Blue, WOW!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this #5? Are you going mano a mano with Twinkie and MommyP?
Wow is right. I'm pretty shocked. I kept hoping the lines on the home prego test would change direction. Yep, this will be #5, the tie breaker. I created shirts for the kids to wear tomorrow saying, "tiebreaker coming".

1. I love Elizabeth Peters!!!! Naked Once More is on my short list of books to re-read when I am down in the dumps. Oddly enough though, I don't really like Barbara Micheals at ALL.

2. Heh heh. I love Franklin. I even have a trendy Franklin Chamber of Commerce fleece. Bet you didn't know that? And thanks to your handy-dandy axe murderers guide to TN, I can drop in next time I am in town shopping for lattes and $600 crib sheets. Cause I am down to earth like that.;)

I surrender. MommyP and LittleBlue get extra credit for having them so close together. I cheated with the whole bonus kid and two for the price of one thing.

Congrats Little Blue!!! Babies are a wonderful way to start people!!!!
:lmao: Yes, TJ and the "little turkey" will be 18mos apart (I think that's right).

robIn - I still haven't seen casablanca. Just that one scene in the great movie ride over and over. :lmao: It's on my list.

The OB staff were so wonderful that I thought I'd do a do-over :sad2: just kidding. At least I will be fresh in my OB's minds.

Like totally (in my best valley girl voice)!
Wouln't that be a hoot! The hospital would love you. We could have our own mini carnival with just our kids BBN or start a baseball game between families out on the grass. :woohoo:

I'll do my best to keep you all updated. I'm working as a daycare director for about 61 families. Funny thing is, the previous director left for maternity reasons. That chair is contagious. I caught TJ earlier this afternoon pawing his hands in the dog's water bowl crazy2: at least he wasn't sipping out of it.

The kids are pretty excited. The girls are hoping for a girl and Cam is hoping for another brother. Its kind of funny, Kimbers has already started praying for a sister.

I hope I have all the bolding and replies some what straight. Thanks all for the compliments.I'm still in the what was I thinking phase of it all.

I've been trying to keep up with all the mooing that goes on here. I miss you all :grouphug:

According to Mr. Twinks, then you are not a true fan :rotfl:
Sad but true, Twink!!!

I should be around for chat. I took a nap, so I should be able to stay up. heh.
Pirate and princess party sounds fun, but doesn't that mean staying another night for you? :rotfl:
Yep! :rolleyes1 But I'm willing to make the "sacrifice" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wendy! Come chat with us tonight! I'm sure I'll be around late if you can't make it at 9:30 Eastern . . .

Back from round one of our skating.

Hannah did great she was all smiles.

I demand pictures!!!!

Y'all! I just got back from my facial.
Best 70 bucks I ever spent.
I don't know if all aveda spas are this nice, but you people need to convince your hubbies to pamper you.
FIrst thing is they asked for my shoe size for my spa sandals - I've never been somewhere where you wear special shoes for a facial?
Then I had to put a robe on.
then I had my feet soaked and rubbed with a salt scrub.
oh! and I had a free glass of wine.
THEN I got the facial - which included hand, shoulder and scalp massage.
Man.
:cloud9:
And it was only 70 bucks! geez!
(I don't know about y'all, but that's pretty reasonable for around here for the level of service I got)
I tipped 15.
I need to read up on tipping protocol to make sure that's ok.
cuz I WILL be going back. :woohoo:

1. I feel wuckety today.

2. I looked last night in target, but they didn't have the second women's murder club book (I just started that series)

1. Sorry you're not feeling well, Cel. BTW, Boris was reading over my shoulder as I read your post, and he noticed "his" word (wuckety). He got quite a hoot out of seeing it used outside the family! :rotfl:

2. What do you think of the first Women's Murder Club book? I watched the series when it was on, and subsequently added those books to my "To Read" list, but haven't picked one up yet. I'd be interested to hear your opinion, if you don't mind. :flower3:

Hey to everyone else! We had quite a busy day today, and I am looking forward to some bum-laying and some chatting tonight. :goodvibes

Nabbie! I thought I had quoted you, but apparently I didn't. I second Cel!!! Pictures, please! :)

Wow, Cel - That does sound like a great deal :goodvibes I think 20% is pretty standard.

Heh. Glad I got to make Boris smile.
It was ok.
I feel weirded out by James Patterson.
He's a white male.
He spent years with his main character being a black male (Alex Cross) which made me feel weird - how does he KNOW the black man's struggle?
Then he switches to a group of women?
What's wrong with him?
Hehehehe.
Other than the prologue being stupid, I like it ok.
6696
that was riley saying hi.
he's NEAR the beast.
ha!

I bought one of the alex cross books I haven't read and a JD robb book I think I haven't read.

Hi Moo! How's stuff?

Cel, funny you should say that about Patterson....I remember the TV commercials for one of his books a while back. The title was Somebody's Letters to Nicholas, or some such. It just showed him reading a passage from the book, but it gave me a creepy vibe. But I'm assuming that if you'd read the second book in the Murder Club series, then the first one must have at least been okay, right?
