Hi. Anyone else here going to DVC Moonlight Magic tonight? I have a question...Disneyland closes at 8 and the party starts at 9; we can arrive as early as 6 pm. What happens between 8-9 pm?

See you there!

Generally, they are closing out the park and having guests that aren't there for the party exit. Usually you get a wristband or something to indicate you are there for the after hours event and you can continue to enjoy DL. They will often have CMs at attraction entrances that will not let guests in line if they don't have a wristband.

We’ll be there! This was the case when we went to MM at AK last year, and we were able to show our wristbands and jump in line for rides.

This is good news! Wondering what we were supposed to do for that hour. :woohoo:

Wonder what the dinner options are? :hyper: I am guessing we have to wait until 9 pm to use our dinner vouchers?

Are they handing out dinning vouchers? I haven’t heard anything about them.

OP (or anyone attending) please report on your experience.
I just assumed it was in November like prior years, and only learned about this one yesterday (while banking points).

Yes! The voucher comes with a meal and a drink and then separately we are able to get ice cream free as well.

Having said that, they haven’t said which restaurants are open. The site is vague. The paper I received in the mail says complementary refreshments so who really knows. Lol!

And now the site says refreshments. I’m a mess. :lmao:

It was AMAZING! The food vouchers were good for $20 each; there were 6 of us. You could use them in Disneyland and DCA (if you had a ticket to get in) plus at any of the hotel restaurants. Also, they allowed us to use our AP discount on food so we took a bunch of treats home.

The park was empty and I think the longest line we waiting in was for Matterhorn and it was 15 minutes.
