Moonlight Magic April 17th

Has anyone noticed that although the Moonlight Magic for April 17th is at AK, the park hours for that date show MK closing at 6pm and AK with regular park hours till 8:30? It seems very odd that MK would close at 6pm on a night when another park is booked for Moonlight Magic. Any thoughts?

Most likely a private buyout of the MK. That private buyout could be a convention group or even a Disney Cast celebration.

Moonlight magic doesn't affect operating hours- event really starts after the park closes. No real info on why MK closes early that night, but the thought is a private event.
