monthly AP payoff ?

Hello. I bought AP passes. I did the monthly payment plan. It's automatically deducted from my creditcard each month. I thought I read or heard somewhere that you can use disney giftcards to pay toward your balance. I called and asked my balance and asked how would i go about using a $188disney rewards card toward my balance. The lady told me I could only use it if my balance was $188 which its not. Well my B-day is coming and I might get 1-2 $25 disney giftcards. Can the regualr giftcards be used to pay the monthly payment???

My Bofa has a deal that I can earn 5% back up to $25 at grocery store, gas,traveling and electronics so I might buy some disney giftcards and get my bonus-lol!

ok, does anyone pay their AP with giftcards on a mothly basis or just ? If i get $25 or $50 in disney giftcard for my B-day can I just use that toward my account? Thanks

This is one of the trickier aspects to the monthly payments. Normally, you can only pay off the full, remaining amount. Very few times will they will let you pay off only the next month or so, if there are extenuating circumstances. You'll probably have to wait until your remaining balance gets low enough to match the balance on the gift cards.

I understand The disney rewards card will have to match the blance for payoff but I thought people use regular giftcards were being used for it too But maybe i'm confusing it with vacation packages.

I am not sure about that. My husband is on a monthly plan and we were told that we'd have to pay the full balance off it we wanted to end the payments early, dont remember specifically if the papers say how you go about that. Do you still have your contract?

I'll have to look for it. I know we were told we could pay if off early. At that Time I had planned on usuaing the $188 toward the down payment but there was a mix up. I first went to city hall and they told me to go to guest services so we signed up and when it came time to pay I told her I was I need to call chase rewards but she said I had to do that at city hall/ I told her they sent me to her. By that time I said forget it cuz she would have to cancel it then re do it when i came back. I figured I'd do it toward the end or when I got it mailed to me. My Ap will expire in Nov.

All you should need to do is to go to the ticket booth with your AP & gift cards and ask to pay it off. But you definitely CAN use gift cards to pay it off, I know people who have done so. As others have said, it will need to be paid in full, but can be done.
