Hi- I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving - after this weekend I am going to begin my starvation diet (not really starvation), I am refusing to order a wedding gown any larger than a 10. Anyway- I was wondering if you knew, in November is it rainy at WDW? Ijust did not know - I kind of check a news website from time to time, but was thinking of a rehearsal dinner on the beach at Beach Club and wondered.

It's pot luck.....my wedding was Nov 1, 2005 and it rained pretty much the whole afternoon/evening. HOWEVER, this didn't impact our wedding AT ALL!!! Our wedding couldn't have been more perfect and looking back, I wouldn't change 1 thing, not even the weather. I was one of those people who checked weather.com daily in the days leading up to the wedding, so even though I was initially a bit annoyed at hearing the weather forecast, it really didn't matter at all!! If anything, it was a GOOD thing because it kept the temps down so I didn't sweat in my dress all day leading up to the ceremony!!! It was HOT on the days that it didn't rain. So, unless your wedding is going to be outside, DON'T WORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, rain on your wedding day is supposed to be a very good omen (it means your marriage will be very prosperous).

As an aside, I also ordered my wedding gown 1 size smaller than I was at the time I ordered it and it worked out perfectly :) I ended up losing about 20 pounds before the wedding and I was really happy with how I looked!! Good luck!! I personally recommend Weight Watchers.

ive also been trying to lose weight before our march wedding, i just love my dress & hope to lose 20-30 pounds between now & then. i want to look perfect on our big day, like most brides. :goodvibes

as for november weather in our experience its been great. we were just at disney november 13-19 & the weather was great, only sprinkeled one day, the rest was sunny & nice in the 70s, 60s at night, wore a light sweater when it got alittle cool.

Although the day temperatures can be lovely it can get quite chilly in the evenings!

Good luck with losing the weight - i really want to loses about 20lbs before my wedding - luckily ive got a year lol.

Hey!

Don't beat yourself up over a wedding gown! They usually run small anyways. Plus, you are better off ordering it a size or two big for alteration purposes. I am usually a 6 and purchased a 10 due to the extensive amounts of work I wanted done on the dress. Be sure you're healthy and happy when you diet!

DF and I went in November- the week before Thanksgiving- before his deployment two years ago. I wouldn't have changed that trip for anything... expcet the fact he left for the Middle East after it. There weren't even lines! One day, at EpCot, the park had just 300 people in it! The weather was perfect and comfortable with shorts and a sweatshir or jeans and a tee-shirt. It's not usually too rainy in November. But, in years like this where theh urricanes have been so active (becuase of the over-warmed Gulf temperatures that, literally, pull them in), you could be at risk. When my Mom and I were there this past weekend, it was lovely. It did pour on Sunday though!

Be sure with any outside event that you have an inclement weahter plan that suits your needs and meets your expectations. We had a Wishes dessert party planned until about 10 days ago for December. We nixed it when we realized our inclement weather plan was in a Salon at the Grand Floridian. No thanks. When we approached our EM about other options, we were either too large a group, couldn't use the space becuase of regular guests, or it was going to cost us $5,000 rain or shine. Be sure you iron out these details when you're making those plans, too!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Good luck with you diet! :cheer2:

Didn't they say that about Jessica Simpson, too? Now look! :rotfl:

When is your wedding in November and where? Mine is November 27 or 28 depending on when we can get there to get our marriage license. We're having it at the Boardwalk Resort. I'm also concerned about the weather.

I worked at a bridal shop for 7 years so the running small thin is true, but my body is shaped to where if I could lose 10 lbs I could fit in a 10 perfectly w/o any alterations. The 10s are a bit snug right now, like if I exhale the dress may explode....heheheheee!!
Hope you all have a happy T giving!
My wedding is Nov 10 at the wedding pavillion/Ariels.
