Just watched the video clips. Sounds fascinating. Although I will probably never step foot out of the house or eat anything again after watching it.

The liver eating Amoeba contracted from a Florida water park was particularly gross.

I didn't even get that far! Isn't that same amoeba the reason they closed River Country?

I watched a special on another network (maybe TLC or Discovery?) all about parasites in humans, and YUCK!!! It grossed me out so much. If you are at all squeamish about creepy-crawlies, don't- I repeat DO NOT- watch it!! There were awful things invading people that got in through some unimaginable places, and that's all I'm gonna say about that, to quote Forrest Gump.

Is this the show that I saw the other day (I'm not even sure if it was AP or not) where the guy was pulling a maggot or something gross like that out of a wound on his arm? I'll pass.

Ummm.... I love this show! But then, I watch a lot of "medical" type shows and find them fascinating rather than gross.

Except now everytime my DD11 gets an itch she thinks its a parasite...

Oh, and I've cancelled any plans I had of travelling to South America!

Me too, I've watched it for a while. My DH, on the other hand starts getting paranoid and can't watch it.

I definitely think if I ever go to South America, I'm wearing a 'full body' mosquito net.
