Monsters, Inc. Scream Garage

Can anybody give me a general idea of what time they open/close the scream garage in MGM? I want to definitely meet Mike and Sully; my 3 year-old loves Monsters, Inc. I know I can check the times guide when I arrive, but I like to plan ahead and get suggestions on when would be a good time to visit there.

I saw them there late morning, early afternoon. By late afternoon - past 3pm - they were no longer there. But that was when I was there, so I can't say for sure.

Remember that they can't sign autographs, so don't be too disappointed if all they do is do a quick wave and photo op. (Mike can't even wave)

Good to know about the autographs and lack of waving by Mike ! But we'll still try to swing by, if possible for a photo op. Thanks!

We missed them--my son sat in the street and cried. Be aware that they don't keep the doors open very long at all. We got stuck on a ride and ran to meet them. We arrived 15 min. after openning and they were closed.

Has anyone else noticed that if you are there mid day to see them the sun is DIRECTLY in front and both times we've seen them the pictures came out horrible, all bright and everyone was squinting. They need to do something about that.

What is the Scream Garage? Is it just a meet and greet area for Monsters, Inc. characters or is it an attraction?

It's a meet and greet. They also take your photos with them (at least they did the last time I saw them!).

It is an area beside the commisary in MGM where you can meet Mike and Sully. It is open at various times throughout the day but it seemed to be odd times when compared with everything else from what I remember.
