Monsters Inc. rollercoaster?

Regardless of whether they take out Muppets or not it would've been nice if Disney had kept the muppets more relevant. Iy's such a great IP that they've let stagnate and fall into oblivion with newer audiences. Also how can you get rid of Muppetvision 3D when it was basically Jim Henson's last work! No no...animation courtyard it is.

Also FWIW I hope the new suspended coaster will be more thrill and less Peter Pan's Flight! Of course something the kids can go on too but nothing ultra tame
Dollywood has one with a 39 in height requirement. It's actually pretty fun for me and my oldest. Not so much for my 5 year old. She thought it was too scary.

Did anyone see that now deleted tweet from the CM that works in the offices behind Animation Courtyard? He said they're moving them which is great news for the Muppets if you can extrapolate that out. It really is the most logical place to build Monstropolis

It really does seem to be the better spot of the two… Buuuuttttt, I did just watch a video from Jim Shull that shows a couple other locations, and honestly there is a big section behind Muppets that could cut off part of the parking lot that would be awesome if they really wanted to build a whole land!!

Honestly they could build it in Tallahassee for all I care I just want them to build it and everything else they mentioned before I'm too old to enjoy any of it! I don't want to see a year starting with the number 30 for completion!

I’m hoping it will go in the Animation Court yard / Star Wars Launch Bay. I do agree that it seems they could do this construction without it interfering with the operation of the park. Too many people would miss The Muppets 3D.

OMG They thought about building a muppets movie dark ride in the past?! That would be awesome!

Haven't we seen enough of Indy? I'm also not thrilled about about a ride through the encanto casita. I guess my zootopia dreams won't come true. :(
Of all the announcements at D23, I'm most excited about Indy. There are so many ride possibilities from the Indy franchise, and there is so much new tech since the first Indy ride opened at Disneyland. That ride still holds up today (I rode the freshly refurbished ride at DL in June, loved it) but a new theme park take on Indy is highly overdue. Can't wait for this major new E Ticket (although I'll miss Dinosaur).

I believe Indy is expected to use the same track and system as Dinosaur, but to tell a new story that’s not a repeat of Disneyland. But let’s hope they do more.

Which is, essentially, the same track/system as Indy ride at DLR. Based on the reports we've seen, the scenery/story will be different, but the track will not change (similar to the way Maelstrom was retrofitted to Frozen).
