Monsters Inc Laugh Floor got picked as "That Guy"

Ok, so what does "that guy" actually have to do, just in case I find myself at the show. Are cameras actually banned? I can't imagine a cell phone sweep at the entrance!

Most of the time, "that guy" just sits there and gets made fun of when the camera pans to him.

I'm another who would be mortified if I got picked. I've always heard you have to be sitting by the lights on the benches ahead of you-- is that true, or have I just been lucky in avoiding them?

My boyfriend's jokes get picked every single show we've done! One day I'll get picked haha...I hope he's That Guy next week! One trip they picked his joke and our other friend's and the show made a comment that "South Philly has its own cheering section here today!"

I have been "that guy" once and the "churro guy" 3 times. If you want to be picked, you should be a male over 40 and be wearing a really loudly colored shirt.

I've been "that guy" twice before. But it's my favorite attraction. I've done laugh floor several dozen times.

My husband was the guy they hypnotise when we were there 2 weeks ago. Loved it!!

That guy doesn't have to do anything. Maybe smile, or perhaps wave. It's a standing joke throughout the show. If they make a joke about someone, it will be "that guy' and his picture will flash on the screen. This will happen for several times throughout the show, so in essence he is the star of the show, since he is on the screen more than anyone else. It's lots of fun, for the audience and 'that guy" too.

That is why my husband likes to sit in the last row. "That guy" is never picked from the back. He would hate to be that guy. Of course, me and the kids would LOVE it.

We went to Laugh Floor for the first time and really had no idea what to expect. We laughed so hard! DH was wearing a crossbody sling-type backpack so from the front you just saw a black strap going diagonal across his chest. They were like "Hey, why is that guy wearing a seatbelt??"

We get picked almost every time we do the Laugh Floor. Never "that guy", though - my husband is usually "has an urge to get up and dance guy" or we both get picked for "has kissed a monster."

We've been in shows where they pick someone in back. We do it several times a trip.. I don't think any seat is 100% safe!

Last trip my DFIL got picked. The rest of the day at MK people kept walking up to him saying, "hey, it's that guy"!
