Monorail?

Good morning everyone,

I was curious to know if the Monorail still runs from the DL resort to the MK? I know that it used to but I could not find the info on either the Disney site or this one. If it does what is the schedule like (how often does it run)

As far as I know, it only runs from DTD to Tommorowland, then you are forced to get off. You cannot just stay on it multiple times if you want, even if there's no one waiting to get on. Kinda stinks...

We rode it last Sept. through the whole loop. From tomorrowland to DTD and back. I hadn't been on it since I was very little. It was fun and relaxing. We rode in the front bubble.

I was told by the monorail driver on Friday that you CAN do complete loop from DL but NOT from DTD. However, if there are long lines at DTD they may elect to require one-way trips.

The walk from the station to the DLH is not very far at all.

The one time we rode it from Tommorrowland to DTD and back. The cast member told us that we were supposed to get off at the DTD stop and get back in line but since there wasn't a line, she let us stay on. You could tell she wasn't too happy about it though.

The monorail stations have not moved. Part of the Disneyland Hotel (not Disneyland Resort) was modified so that Downtown Disney could be put in. The stop is now located in Downtown Disney which is only a couple minutes walk from the DLH.

Just some terminology: DLH-Disneyland Hotel
DL-Disneyland Park
MK-Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World
DLR-Disneyland Resort (includes DL, Disney's California Adventure (DCA), all 3 onsite hotels, and Downtown Disney (DTD))

Does the monorail run every day all day? From some of the posts, it seems that it doesn't. Can anyone use it or just guests of the Disney hotels? Anyone?

Yep, it runs all day every day, and everyone can use it not just hotel guests. Although if you stay at one of the Disney hotels your supposed to get priority boarding on to the monorail.
