Monorail - Why no expansion?

They spent over a billion dollars on an app and Wifi. I think they can afford to get some rail transportation between the parks!

I think it is like many of the other plans they have in the pipeline. They can, but that does not mean they will.

Why not just get rid of the monorail and a build a freeway for mega-buses and Google cars...I see a place where people get on and off the freeway. On and off, off and on all day, all night. Soon, where the monorail once stood will be a string of gas stations, inexpensive motels, restaurants that serve rapidly prepared food. Tire salons, automobile dealerships and wonderful, wonderful billboards reaching as far as the eye can see. My God, it'll be beautiful

If it's a matter of money, haven't they been making huge profits over the last many years?

If so, use some of that $.

Having said that, I'd probably prefer they use the money for new projects in the parks, and keeping the resorts updated.

Sorry I am confused. So what do you want WDW to spend its money on. The monorail system at $1mm a mile or new projects and keeping the resorts updated, or all of it?
