Monorail wait times?

About how long is the current wait between trains?

We're planning ADRs and trying to estimate what to leave for "buffer" for travel time when using monorail.

We have a good handle on walking time and ride time, but want to factor in the +\- in case we just miss a train...

An example would be: if we have a 12:00 FP for BTM, what is the earliest we could make a lunch ADR at Kona Cafe? IOW, we know how long it normally takes us to walk out the the station, and how long the ride is, but what's the max wait to add in...?

Well there are lots of things to factor in. Such as how many people are waiting to catch the train and if you will have to wait for another train to come. On occasion a train is put into holding pattern while it waits for another train to leave the platform so that would mean some extra time on the train. I would allow at least 30-40 minutes from the time you exit the park to the time you get to Kona.
