I was thinking of taking the monorail for a round trip before a breakfast reservation but didn't know how long it would take.

Any help would be great!

TIA! :cool1:

Family members did this the night after Chef Mickeys, took them about 15-20 minutes.

Long answer to your short question...

We're staying at AKL and have a ressie at Chef Mickey's... I was planning to take the bus to MK and then hop on the monorail (and maybe get to sit in the front, my LO would LOVE that). So, to make the monorail trip worthwhile, I thought we'd take the whole loop, which I'm guessing is the resort loop.

Thanks!

The resort loop, starting at Magic Kingdom is Magic Kingdom,Contemporary, TTC, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian. So, if you are starting at Magic Kingdom and going around once before you get off at the Contemporary, you should probably allow up to 30 minutes once you get on the monorail at Magic Kingdom since you are going to actually be going an extra stop. This way if there are any hold ups, you should be okay.

As for riding up front with the drivers, that was discontinued after the fatal accident in July. So far there is no word of them changing the rules and allowing passengers to ride up front again.

That total time sounds about right.
