Monorail - pre park opening

Hello - For our first day at the parks I like the idea of taking the monorail over and in to Magic Kindgom. (EMH @ 8AM)
I was hoping to bus over to Epcot (staying at a resort in the Epcot area) and then ride the monorail up to MK.
For the day in question Epcot opens at 9, do the buses run an hour before each park opening and does the monorail following the same rules?

Buses start at 6:30. The problem is, there are not buses to Epcot from the Epcot area resorts. If you want to get to the monorail, you'll need to take a Lyft/Uber/Cab to the front of Epcot

If you are at an Epcot area resort there are no buses to EP. If EP is open you can take the boat or walk to IG, walk thru EP to the front gate and take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to the Mk monorail. You would need tickets to go thru EP.
If EP is not open you can take the bus to MK.
Or you could Uber or Lyft to TTC and take the monorail from there.

The Epcot Monorail has been opening at 7:30 this week; no earlier for MK EMH morning. If you were to get to the front of Epcot for the 1st train, you might get to the MK entrance a bit after 8am.

Just to be clear, when you say "a resort in the Epcot area", you do mean an Epcot resort -- specifically BW, YC, BC, Swan, or Dolphin -- right?
