Monorail Playset

Hello. We purchased the monorail playset for our Christmas tree this year. I know there is the Contemporary Resort that you can purchase...but is there also an Epcot ball? If so...can the monorail go through it like it can with the Contemporary?

There is an Epcot ball, but I am unsure about a monorail opening in it

Oh that is too cool! So the base comes with the ball? Is this what they sell at Disney World? I saw the ball but did not know there was a base with it.

Yes, the EPCOT ball comes with the base. They also sell the Poly, the Grand, the Main Street train station, the WDW train ,a modified TTC transfer track, some random signs......get your checkbook out!

I called the guest service # that was on a receipt from when we were there two months later and ordered things I had seen in the park

Thanks. we bought the set and some extra track in September and want to start adding to it. I think we still have the receipts somewhere at home.

We bought the monorail playset in 2006 and bought a Contemporary for it and the TTC switch station. We just bought an Epcot ball and Animal Kingdom tree that sorta 'go with it', but our SPaceship Earth looks nothing like the one in the photo. We just set ours up inside the track, there's no base like that. It came with a TT car, some figurines, and a MS rocket. Theres also some sort of plug, but we haven't put that part together yet.

From what we were told, they no longer sell that SE in the picture, nor the Poly or any other accessories. Not sure if that's true, but we did look all over and asked in several stores and the answer was the same.
