Monorail is down at disneyland hotel

I have been informed that the monorail is down for a while. This was the main reason why we wanted to book at the disneyland hotel since we have a 3 year old.
The thought was that we could use the monorail to come back to the hotel during the day for breaks without having to walk for miles.

Can anybody tell me if the other hotels on the property are convenient for my purpose ?

There was a thread about it a few weeks ago. People panicked when they heard the monorail would be done for awhile thinking it was WDW. Seems they are doing some repairs, etc. Ive never been to DL so I dont know about the other hotels.
