The monorail to Epcot remains running until 1 hour after the Magic Kingdom closes correct? Is that reliable?

I thought it was 1 hour from Epcot close.

Actually, as of Sept 27 the Epcot line operates from 8:00 am to 11:00pm OR 1 hour after Magic Kingdom closes whichever is earliest.

In other words, if MK closes at midnight it will run to 12:00 pm but if MK closes at 9:00 pm it will only run until 10:00pm.

Thank you! We are wanting to drive to Epcot for emh in the morning and then hop to MK. Wishes is at 10:00, so that could be cutting it close! I know fighting the crowd to get out can take some time.

Is this true of EMH? Epcot closes at 11:30 pm due to EMH’s the day I am thinking of.

When the monorail shuts down (for work) during/adjacent to park hours, it's replaced by buses.

You will not be left stranded.

No, if MK closes at midnight, Epcot beam should operate until 11 p.m. (the earlier of 11 p.m. or 1 a.m.)

I would not rely on this rule 100%. Over the past couple of weeks, the Epcot Monorail closing time seems to have varied between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. with no obvious connection to MK closing time.

Usually, no. The beam opens 30 minutes early for morning EMH, but doesn't stay open later for evening EMH. But things could change again by December.

Buses replace the monorail. I'm pretty sure they go to the monorail resorts without requiring a transfer, but I don't know whether they go to MK, or only as far as TTC.
