Monorail from TTC to Epcot Security

Last year's visit we went through security when taking monorail to Epcot, and then had to go through security again at Epcot. I thought I remember reading somewhere or maybe it was hearing it on a podcast possibly, that this changed and don't have to go through again at Epcot when getting off monorail, but that was a few months ago, and can't find the source now. Did this in fact change and don't need to go through security again?
