Monorail/DL early entry?

We will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel- heard that while it is the farthest of the three DL hotels, there is direct monorail service to tomorrowland. Can this be used during the early entry period before the park opens to non-DL hotel guests?

It is not the farthest from DL itself. Paradise Peir is farther to DL. I think you would be in the park faster by going the regualr entry. It really is not that much farther. It is helpful though to take it back to the holte if you are in the Tomorrow land area and decide to go back

I once mapped it on mapmyrun, and if you use the front entrance of PPH and go across the street to and through the Grand and use the path to the esplanade, it's .45 mile.

If you go from the closest tower of DLH, pick a route through DTD, and get to the same spot in the esplanade, it's .43 mile.

I hate DTD so going through the Grand and only hitting half of the giant mall is far more pleasant for me!

And if your'e in a further away tower, or don't pick the exact path I mapped, you're going to be the same distance or further away than PPH is, when using that path.

(I just mapped it from Frontier Tower closest to Adventure Tower to the esplanade and it's .55)



OP, if you get lucky you can use the monorail for Magic Morning, but it isn't scheduled to start running until after MM starts. And since the monorail lets you off right above Nemo, and you exit the area somewhere nearish Matterhorn, it's really only useful if that's the area you want to be in. We prefer to just walk through and go in the main gates.

Great for going back midday if you want to be in Tomorrowland, not so great for MM. By the time it gets to the Tomorrowland stop, the people at the gates are already at the rides so it would be faster to walk.
