My wife is taking her annual short weekend trip to go to MNSSHP next weekend. They are staying for two nights and would like to do a monorail crawl the first evening, partly to eat, and partly to experience each resort. They thought about watching the fireworks from one of the resorts and were looking for recommendations for viewing places at each resort. They would also like to know what time would be best to line up at each place. They will be there on Saturday night and the fireworks are set for 9 pm. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Can they get a dinner reservation at California Grill at the Contemporary? You can see them from most of the restaurant, and they also have an outdoor fireworks viewing area, into both of which they pipe the music. You can also go back to California Grill with your receipt from earlier in the night to watch the fireworks.

The Contemporary has an outdoor balcony on the same floor with Chef Mickey's (not sure what # floor they consider it) that is a great place to view the fireworks. We used it during our recent Disney trip when staying at the Contemporary and think most people don't know it is there. It is the opposite end of the floor from Chef Mickey's and you have to walk past the large gift shop to get there. There are benches and chairs to sit on or you can stand by the railing. Can't compare it to other sites we have never seen, but worked out great for us. Most nights there weren't that many people there.

Unfortunately that is not in the budget for this trip. We would love to do that sometime. Thanks
