Monorail Cafe

When I used to go to Disneyland one of my favorite restaurants was Monorail Cafe that used to be at Disneyland Hotel in the 80s-90s and it was a great restaurant that played oldies music and was a 1950's styled restaurant. While the food was great the highlight was getting drinks in souvenir glasses later cups that you could take home with you and were so cute. It's a shame Monorail Cafe closed but it was a fun place to eat at

I loved the old Disneyland Hotel with the shopping and dining options, bungalows, and so on. So much got lopped off when they put in DTD, but I also love DTD.

I have a Monorail Cafe pin. It wasn't that the place was so amazing, but riding the monorail out of the park to go eat there was fun. Seems like they could create something like that again if they want to.

I loved the Monorail Café!! Their cheeseburger was called the Chubby Cheddar and I got it every time!

One of the best things about the early 90's was the fact that for $3 you could buy a roundtrip ticket to ride the monorail in the rear nosecone. More than a few times, we made the drive up to look at the hotel, have lunch at the Monorail café and get our Disneyland fix by getting a ride!

For anyone that went there when it was open, you only need to say a few words.... the banana bread! Mmmmmmmmmmm... that stuff was delicious!

I missed out - never got to eat there.
I also missed out on Bonita tower water falls too.

Never even heard of it but think I would have loved it from the sounds of it. I love Cafe's and love Disneyland. Perfect combo.
