Does anyone remember that? It's one of the few things I remember from my trip to Disneyland growing up.

We still have cups from the Monorail Cafe. I'll never get rid of them. I loved it there.
Remember the old car seat that was outside the doors?

Yes! I was trying to find pictures on google but was unsuccessful.

My family and I LOVED that restaurant. It was affordable compared to a lot of the other sit-down restaurants and always had something everyone would eat. It's a shame that it got taken out when they put in Downtown Disney. :sad2:

Our DL trips always included a ride on the Monorail to DLH to shop and then eat at the Monorail Cafe! We were quite surprised and disappointed the first time we rode the Monorail to DTD to find the Rainforest Cafe! We now ride the Monorail to get to DTD to eat at ESPNZone...but it just isn't the same as the Monorail Cafe :sad2:

haha me to me too:yay: :yay: the very first time me and my dd stayed at DLH (she was like 6) we went there...I remember planning that trip for soooooo long and even though we werent going to the park till the next day, we left at 6am and got there around noon and checked in and then we headed straight to Monorail Cafe... I remember they had picnic lunches for kids with a sandwich, chips and drink in a little box like thing:cloud9: ah brings back such great memories except I think that was the time I almost lost my shoe in the water on the paddle boats at the hotel...i was trying to get out of the boat and I was wearing flip flops and my foot got caught and I almost lost the shoe and the boat started getting away from me and my butt was in the air and my leg straight back hanging over the boat and it tooke two cm's to help me out of the boat...how embarrassing:sad2: my dd still wont let me live that one down and shes almost 21 now:rolleyes:

Yes, I do. I have pictures of sitting at the counter eatting hashbrowns and a thick chocolate milkshake. We also miss being able to go to the Neon Cactus and then playing Bingo by the old pool. I love the changes Dis has made, but miss the memorable places of my childhood. It's funny to think that my kids memories will be all those that center around Downtown Dis and Neverland pool.

I loved the Monorail Cafe! We still have a cup and a pin from there and they are some of my favorite keepsakes.

I loved Monorail Cafe too. I went there last in Spring 1999 and ate there with a bunch of friends. I was very insistent that we eat breakfast at the restaurant. They wanted McDonalds, because it was fast and cheap, but I won.:cool1:

They were absolutely baffled when I purchased the menu after we were through eating. The server was not surprised...I think he knew who had picked the restaurant.

The Downtown Disney area is nice enough, but going there for the first time was an absolute shock.
