Monorail and MM

Aloha,

When and how often does the Monorail depart DTD for DL on MMs? For example, if MM starts at 7 AM on a weekend, when does the first Monorail depart DTD and basically what is the Monorail schedule at the first departure? Is their a Monorial departing DTD every 10 minutes starting at 7 AM or earlier?

I can't give you exact times or anything, just my one time experience, we rode the monorail once, got to the station before park opening on a non MM day and it seemed like forever to actually get into DL. We never did it again. It also was a different feel, I love the sights, sounds and smells of entering DL first thing in the morning and walking down Main Street. Didn't get that at all with riding the monorail.

Everyone might have a different opinion, but I personally think it is better and more time efficient to walk to the gates for opening.

My understanding as of the last time we stayed on property, is that the monorail does not start operating until park opening. NO monorail for MM.

At the earliest it'll leave right at park opening (not sure if it runs MM, but I think it does). It's not a set schedule on how often it departs. I'm not sure how many trains it runs, I think it depends on the season. I don't think it does more than 2 at a time though. I want to say it can't leave DTD until the other train leaves Tomorrowland, but I could be wrong. It's not the best mode of transportation if you want to get into the parks early.
