What time does the monorail and buses start running?

Transportation begins approximately 2 hrs before opening time. Transportation continues until about 2 hrs after the parks close. Monorails run from 7:00 a.m. until about two hours after Park closing.

Disney Buses run every 20 minutes from all WDW onsite resorts. Resort guest bus stops feature signs with the destinations that are available and the bus marquees will indicate the buses' main destinations. Listed below you will find some of the general information regarding bus transportation from WDW hotels (including Swan and Dolphin). Character Breakfast busses start running at 7:00am, and run approx every 15 minutes. They have the flexibility to allow direct transportation to the theme parks, and area resorts.

Parks: Disney Bus service will begin 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day. Bus service for Character Breakfasts will begin ½ hour before the earliest seating. The marquee on the bus will read "Character Breakfast." It should be noted that guests should verify with the driver which park the bus is going to for the character breakfast because there are different ones for different parks.

Epcot: Disney Bus service will begin 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day.

Disney-MGM Studios: Disney Bus service will begin 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day.

Animal Kingdom: Disney Bus service will begin 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day. Bus service for Character Breakfasts begins ½ hour before the earliest seating. The marquee on the bus will read "Character Breakfast." Downtown Disney Pleasure Island/West Side: DTD busses start running at 8:30am. This is a combined bus stop located at Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island. Please be aware that the last bus departs for the Resort hotels at 2:00 a.m.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: DTD busses start running at 8:30am. Please be aware that the last bus departs for the Resort hotels at 12:00 a.m.

Typhoon Lagoon: Bus service will begin 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day.

Blizzard Beach: Bus service will begin 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day.
