The leather furniture I recently purchased. My cat has adopted it already as the new scratching post.
The litle beast has 2 real scratching posts in the living room!!

Yeah. Cats sometimes end up viewing THE scratching post as A scratching post. Same goes for the litter box.

$900 on rebates if I'd only gotten my act together and mailed in the forms and coupons within 6 months of buying the appliances (fridge/stove). But, new home, new job, new commute, packing, unpacking. It got away from me and I lost out. That was in 1999 and I could have used the money, for sure! It was nearly one month's mortgage payment.

Besides the groceries that I buy and never eat, I would say the next thing that really irritates me spending money on is my college degree. This has gotten me absolutely no where, not a better position where I work, nor better pay in my current position.

I'm sure that's true but I'm a discount store/drug store/grocery store buyer; nothing fancy.

In the past I've been able to return open foundations and recently a tinted moisturizer to Walmart.

Need you to talk to my daughter. At 33, with a Bachelors degree, is quitting her job of eight years to go back to College in another country to get a second Bachelors degree so she can get a better paying job, she hopes three years from now. My response is, she will be throwing away eight years of seniority to compete for a bunch of 23 year olds as a then 36 year old for less money.
