Sorry to make a thread like this, but I just needed a little money help. Well my mom had owed me $100 and I had got it today. So now I have $150. Would it be bad to spend some on clothes? Or not because in like 3 months I will be going school shopping, but that is a long ways away.

Do what you want.

three month is along time.

plus you'll need summer clothes.

I can't make the decision for you - because in the end, it's up to you. I'd say spend maybe, 50 dollars or so now, and save 50 for later. If you're thinking: "What? Only fifty dollars?!" Then, just save it up for back to school shopping. Who knows? You might end up drawing in some more money for back to school shopping between now and late summer.

Well, I'm not exactly the best person to ask for advice as whenever I come by some extra spending money, it inevitably goes for new toys or pins, sometimes a CD.

BUt I think it'd be a bad idea to spend it all at once. Basically what Jaimie said. =)

true. lol. I am alredy making a wish list for school clothes and everything!!

I will just save. :( But hey if my mom says SHE has alredy spent enough money on me, I can spend mine!

I would say send it on summer clothes if you need them. But if you're parent's dont give you money for school stuff - notebooks, school clothes, backpack, supplies, etc - I would save it, because I get 300 dollars [ i am not spoiled my parents are trying to teach me the value of money ]to buy all my school stuff and just notebooks, pencils, folders, and pens were around 90 $.
