Monday morning... who does NOT feel like going to work?

Ok, it's Monday morning, again. Who does not feel like going to work today? I really hate my job, and I have to force myself to get up and start to get ready

Anyone else hate their job... not feel like working today?

I don't hate my job but I don't feel like going to work. And I'm not going to! A friend asked me Friday if I would work next Saturday for her and I agreed so I have today off.

I'd really like to go back to bed for about an hour or so, but once I've be wakened by the dogs forget it. I'm not looking forward to handing over my resignation this morning, and the akwardness I may feel for the next two weeks before I go back to my old job. My boss already knows I'm departing, but actually handing over that piece of paper will cement it.

I would further dread to going in to work this week, but most everyone in the office is on vacation so there will be plenty to keep me busy. In recent weeks I have been bored to tears.

I definitely agree with you! My job is bizarre and extremely stressful. I'll be looking for something else as soon as my DH gets his act together.

DS is getting ready for school. I'll soon be getting ready for work. DH is taking the day off.
It wouldnt be so bad going back to work if the sun came out and the weather warmed up over the weekend. But once again NO. Oh well lets hope for a sunny warm Memorial Day weekend - at least it will be a long one.

Saturday night I didn't hardly sleep at all because of the bad weather. Maybe 3 hours. I was "draggy" all day yesterday, fell into bed last night and slept great, but could've used 2-3 more hours. *sigh*

I don't have to work today. I really want to go back to bed for a little while but I won't.

I have one Monday left of doing this long term 7th grade teaching job and after that one Monday, the next one I'll be heading to Epcot!!!

I hate Mondays.

Last year I had off every Monday from June 2ns week until the 1st week of Sept it was great .
This year my workgroup said that wasn't going to happen again so they started locking them up early.

I did end up with 8 out of 21 workdays off in JUNE and 10 our of 21 in Aug. So still looks like a good summer for DD.

Add me to the list. Actually, it's getting pretty short. My job is being eliminated 31 August, and I have chosen to take early retirement. SO-only 12 more working Mondays for me! Now I've got to get back in and change my signature line-hoping to be in WDW 12 September for 16 days. Can't wait!

I have a final tonight and an extra credit report that needs to be typed.

The assistant and the aid in my room both have appointments this afternoon so I can't take off or leave early.

This is my last full Monday of work until school starts up again. And NO I don't feel like going. But being that my boss put on my review that it concerns him about how many times I have been absent I figure I should go.
But actually, I have NEVER called out of work anytime when I haven't been sick, thought I know others who have.
Getting back to what my boss said, I guess I should have asked him if next year I should go to work with pink eye, and strep throat and the flu. Some of the reasons I was out this year. Though I could have used the money those days, I took in to consideration that you should not work with children when you are contagious. Thank God the summer is almost here!!!!!!
