Monday Morning Dreaming... The Perfect DVC Vacation

It is Monday morning and the work week is ahead of us so we need to divert our minds to make it through the day. To help with this goal I pose a simple question to get our minds on more pleasant things. Create/Describe the Perfect DVC Vacation.

My perfect DVC vacation is any day not spent at work..... Ha! :cool1:

Well, my perfect DVC stay is what I'm hoping I can do next year......I know it's a long shot but I'm hoping it comes true......

1) Chicago to LAX for 3 nights at the Grand California Villas and some days visiting DL and WOC. I haven't been at DL since I was 12 years old, so it will be neat to see a different Disney - I've been at WDW at least 6 times since the last time I was in DL.

2) LAX to Honalulu for a 7 day Island view 1BR. Some time at the pool, some time at the beach, some time doing a LOST island tour to see some of the shooting locales, a trip to Pearl Harbor and a visit to the Arizona Memorial.

3) Honalulu to LAX for a 2 night stay at Grand California Villas with just some days to decompress and maybe 1 day in the park.

4) LAX back to Chicago and back to work. :sad1: If that doesn't recharge my batteries, I don't know what will.

I know, trying to swing the ressies at Grand California will be the tricky part - since hopefully I'll be able to book Aulani at 11 months but GCV at 7......but if I have to I can stay at the DL Hotel on cash.

Well, it is Monday morning, but I just started my 10 week summer vacation (I am a teacher!!!) so I will be able to dream all day!!!

My perfect DVC vacation is being able to go to WDW for a week every summer, and have enough points so my children can bring their friends with them. We could stay at a GV at BLT.

This sounds pretty good, but since since we are blue skying it, I'm going to say that I would like to take a Disney Cruise from LAX to Hawaii, not on points, of course. Hey, a girl can dream, right?:rotfl2:

I love the first day of vacation. Check in, unpack, check out your room and view, and know that you have your entire vacation ahead of you!

I guess for me the "perfect" trip would be something along the lines of...

DW and I (taking kids and in-laws) go down for a 5-6 days. A nice 2br at BCV for food and win and just really enjoying the resort and Epcot. Throw in a couple of nice dinner reservations.

Have my in-laws take the kids home, so DW and I can enjoy a couple more days at BLT MK 1br then a 3 night cruise. Just a couple of days to relax and unwind without kids.

(the closest we get to that is next April when DW and I have a MK view studio in April w/o kids)

Easy - OKW before the renovations. (I thought I already answered this)

There is a duplicate thread running, so I am going to close this one.
