Monday & Friday DVC contracts reviewed

I just heard that Disney only reviews resale contracts for ROFR on Monday and Fridays. Is that correct? Any insights into the process? I submitted mine on 1/16... I am still waiting. What about others?

DVC has 30 days to review any offers submitted for ROFR. Their options are to accept the offer themselves, pass on the offer (and inform the seller immediately) or pass on the offer and allow the full 30 days to pass with no word.

It sounds like you're 1/2 way thru the possible timeline.

Honestly, I'm not sure how they do it. My sister-in-law and I submitted 3 contracts on 1/16 as well (I submitted 2 for SSR and she submitted 1 for OKW). She got a call last Friday telling her she had passed ROFR and I'm still waiting. She's already a DVC member, so I'm not sure if that has a bearing on it or if it was because she purchased at OKW.

For what it's worth, best wishes and hope we both hear something soon!!! It does seem as if they come in batches. On the ROFR thread, several people will post responses on a given day. Hopefully, we'll be posting ours together tomorrow!!!

My deposit was received at the Title company Jan 4, passed ROFR sometime before Jan 18 ( date I received my "Great News!" email from the broker ). Hang in there

Wishful thinking.. Even after you pass ROFR then we have to wait for the paper work trail. I called TTS and they told me my contract was scheduled to close END of Feb. thru mid March

Got a call earlier this afternoon that we passed ROFR on 2 contracts!!! I am SO excited. We submitted on 1/16, so I'm sure you'll hear very soon. Ours went through for $84 a point, seller pays closing costs. Contract 1 was 120 points and had all points for 2005 and 2006 banked and all of 2007 coming in August. Contract 2 was for 270 points with 217 banked points from 2006 coming and all 2007 points coming in August.

I'll keep you in my thoughts!
