Monday 4/29 Hollywood studios question

This is the day that we have planned for HS. I noticed that the cheer/dance comp is supposed to be hosting a party there starting at 930 pm. My question is should we adjust our plan or to avoid them that day, or will the competitors not show up until later in the evening or right before the party. I've looked at their schedule and it seems like they are competing all day on Monday. Do they all go to watch the competition if they aren't in the finals?

thats the day we are planning to go there as well. I considered changing, but I really think its not going to have any impact on our touring. The competitions are at Epcot WS, so I don't think the kids are going to be there until well into the late afternoon. Hopefully. See you there! LOL

EasyWDW has DHS as the most recommended park for that day and Josh does a good job of keeping up with events that are going on in the parks and doesn't make any mention of this one, so I would think that it won't be an issue.

ETA: I did some checking, and the competition takes place on the weekend, meaning that they would have Monday free. However, that doesn't mean they'll all be at HS during the day just because that's where the party is that night.

The schedule I saw had finals going on that day but it might only be international competitors
