No news as of 9:48 this am! I'm ok with that. They said 2 weeks for results so let them take the two weeks

I'm up at least every two hours during the night to pee. I'm figuring better in than out right? TMI ALERT I actually took Dulcalax on Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful night getting rid of weeks worth of stuff i think! It was great! I may have to make it a weekend thing now;-)

I'm very stretchy today! I actually used a hair elastic to hold my jeans together Thanks for the tip on that! I have maternity pants at home but they are just the slightest bit big, which I am learning not a bad thing right now!

ArielSRL ~ Sorry aobut your DH's situation with his mom? Can you refreash my memory on that one if you don't mind sharing? We are currently mending fences with my DBIL & DSIL and it is still a fragile situation. We are hoping to move on though to keep the family together as much as we can.

I just popped my head in to check on you guys. It seems like things are going well for everyone! If I may make one suggestion - you might stock up on gift cards for diaper use only instead of actual diapers. I tried them all with my older daughter and stuck with Pampers throughout. Then in 2009 I had a miscarriage but before I knew I had bought a ton of diapers on sale - they were all Huggies. With Shaylee I had all these Huggies I had gotten on sale but really didn't like them. If you have gift cards you don't have to worry about exchanging yet you have the money readily available.

Oh....and I am actually using cloth with Shaylee and LOVING it. It's something worth considering anyway. I chose cloth to save money, but now I definately like them better. (I do still use disposables occasionally....and I used disposable for the first few weeks - I'm totally not an anti-disposable cloth diapering nazi)

I have been having problems with that for a month! I had a nasty cough and I ended up wearing a maxi pad due to "leakage". My doctor said it was normal - esp since this is my 3rd child. Not fun.

No problem on sharing. It actually helps me to vent to be honest. Back at our New Years party, SIL and MIL and I were talking about going on a Disney cruise. Its been since Dec 2007 that I went (with my mom) to Disney and its been forever for DH. MIL has taken SIL's family at least twice in the last few years and paid for them to go. They even stayed at the Polynesian! Wow, DH and I would have loved to be asked to go. Were we? No. So anyway, we all talked about going on this cruise (us not even asking to be paid for). MIL and I talked one night on the phone and she said she couldn't afford to pay for us. Which is fine, but in my opinion, then she shouldn't be paying for SIL's family, either (but I guess they do things different in their family). Anyway, we told her the dates we could go (after school lets out). Well, a few weeks later, I get a text from MIL saying they booked their cruise for May 7 and we were welcome to come! Um, was that a date we said we could go? NO. It just totally burned me up! Why ask when we could go if they didn't care? And this was all our idea, we were planning it together!

Anyway, DH talked to her cuz I was pissed! She said it costs double to go after school was out, which may be true, I supppose. So she said she would pay for he and I to go to Disney after school was out, if thats what we wanted to do. Well, I booked our trip and everything and then she gave us $300! $300 to go to Disney! WTH?? What am I supposed to do with that? What a freaking joke! I don;t even know what to say. I just wasn't raised with parents who lie and favor one child over another. Needless to say, it is hard to adjust to.

I was so sad, I cried about cancelling our trip. Several times. But what do you do?

That is crummy!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a SIL, who at age 40 had moved back into my IL's and lived off of them...she had some health problems as well as mental issues. She SUCKED them..their energy, their money, their time. She was given money left and right, yet if DH and I needed money (which was rare) it was expected to be paid back (which is fine, but if you do for one, do for the other!). She died (MIL found her slumped over the computer, her and FIL did CPR but it was too late, she was brain dead and lived for a few more days once they removed life support)...don't know why, my MIL refused an autopsy and FIL didn;t want to push MIL....DH was furious, as it might have been something genetic that could affect our kids...anyway. Family STINKS!

I've been trying to check in with you ladies and all your great news I am just having a hard time keeping up with replies!

As of today I am 35 + weeks. I have been going for NST 2x a week, and have a nice relationship with the nurse!! LOL! I see my dr tomorrow and then next week the peri and reg ob.

With ym last 2 boys my headaches were KILLER....I ended up in the ER several times due to the pain and they offered to induce me 5 weeks early (I declined as I wanted to avoid a preemie) with ym last.....well about 2 weeks ago the headaches started.....and they are still here. I finished a steriod taper, which usually has helped in the past, and yesterday the headaches returned. I called the neuro today and she called me in mroe pain meds and told me to call Mon to let her know how I am doing.

It jsut occured to me that in about 3 weeks this one will be here (they will induce at 38wks)...HOLY MOLY!!!!! WOWSA, I ahve alot to do!!!!




I have been stocking up on diapers and wipes as I can...I liked huggies until crawling, then I switched to Pampers cruisers, so I have been stocking up on diapers that way.

Just a FYI....if you have a Target locally, they take MFG AND Target.com coupons on the same item. Just go to the website, scroll down to the bottom and click on coupons, you can print them out!!!!!

Ugg Renee that is a tuff situation especially having your MIL involved. Maybe she knows that you and your DH are strong and able to take care of yourselves because you are independent. Also when someone pays for something or takes care of something there is usually some sort of "power" issue. He/She who hast the money makes the rules. Kinda strange I know, but that's how it works out sometimes. Maybe she realizes that the money is her ace card so as to speak, at least that is how see is using it. You ultimately wind up paying a price. Damned if you do and Damed if you don't. I could be comepletly wrong, but no matter what it sucks!

Star ann! Boo on the headaches lady! I hope you can get some sort of remedy fast! I was thinking lately that i seem to live dr appt. to dr appt, well, shoot lady you really are!!! Have you had any braxton hicks or any signs that you are progressing?

Star Ann- I had headaches with my first - I feel for ya! They wouldn't let me take anything stronger than tylenol - I hid in my closet alot and ended up getting fired (half quit) due to lost time. No fun.

Well, I scheduled my ultrasound for May 6th - just before Mother's day. We are still undecided if we will find out the sex. I am under alot of peer pressure (if you can call it that) from my DDs. They really want to know. My DH does too, but has said it is up to me. We will see - I might cave because I really have a patience problem.

Ariel. stinky situation with MIL. DH's bio-mom can be a pill sometimes, so I feel your pain!

Star- The headaches stink. I am so sorry you are hurting. Hope ya feel better soon.

Snow-I had no patience whatsoever,I had to know!!

Well, today is my birthday. The big 3-0! Last night DH took me out to eat at Bubba Gumps over at Universal and then we had front row seats to Blue Man group! he had refused to tell me anything ahead of time so it was really sweet of him.

Today I worked and now we have some friends coming over for dinner. I am making a Broccoli and Cheese stuffed fish for dinner. I love cooking for others and will generally take any excuse to do so. Our friend J loves free food so it works out well. Right now I am waiting for the rice to cook so I can finish the broccoli/cheese stuffing.

On the pregnancy front my belly has grown A LOT in the past couple weeks. I have gotten several comments about my amazing exploding tummy. Yet according to the hospital scales (i weight at work sometimes) I am only up 8-9 pounds above my start. I am also working on a UTI right now. It is work that does it since I can't just leave the OR any old time I want. Though sometimes it is tempting to kiss the patients forehead and just wish them the best of luck while I take a potty break. So I am chugging cranberry juice like mad and taking Cystex to help out. Once I am home I feel fine but work is killing me since Charlie is a professional bladder stomper. Who would have though 4 pounds worth of baby could be so uncomfortable?

Not much else to say about life, just chugging along!

E, yes part of it is that she knows SIL cannot take care of herself and she feels like Dh can take care of himself just fine. basically MIL made SIL the way she is. She has babied her all her life. Given anything she wanted and whined for. But it definitely still sucks b/c yes, we can make it on our own, but we'd like a trip to Disney, too! However you are right about the power and the rules. SIL has to deal with MIL and the way she wants things done b/c it is MIL money. Plus MIL is always up in SIL's business. Comparitively, we only do the things WE WANT TO with MIL. So yes, there is that. I just hate the unfairness of it all and I wonder what will happen when our baby gets here.

SD... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It sounds like you had an AWESOME day! But I am so sorry about the UTI, that SUCKS. I had one last year and it was HELL. Ugh! Praying it goes away (or is GONE!) fast!!!

MommaSW... Good luck at the U/S! It was something I will NEVER forget finding out the sex at my U/S. I was shaking and my heart was racing as I watched the screen and waited for her to utter the words! Plus, it's SO fun decorating when you know! And shopping!

I'm so excited because tomorrow we paint Ava's room!!! DH plans on putting her crib together, and I just can't wait! I really want to get things started. I tend to procrastinate, and I want it DONE and ready for her by July 1st. She isn't due until August 16th, but with a history of preeclampsia, and my high blood pressure at past appointments, I am just planning on delivering early.

I'll post pictures once it's all painted and the furniture is in there!

I've been super sick with what I think is allergies on top of a cold ALL WEEK. I am only taking Tylenol and Benadryl per my doctor, and I am MISERABLE!

Morning ladies! Hope everyone had a great Easter! Ours was lovely albeit abit nerve wracking in the afternoon as I think I've mentioned that there was tension between us and my BIL's family. The day wound up going really well and was lovely. I hope it is a good beginning to rebuilding. I told Mike that things would never be the same but they can be good and that's whats important.

So today marks 2 weeks from my amnio. I'm hoping that we get some news today. Mike tells me I need to be calm but jeeze oh petes this is our kid. I can't help but think about him ya know? Then of course I've been reading about all these people who have had false U/S readings and have wound up with a girl instead of a boy or vise versa! Well, shoot! I'd kinda like to have that cleared up as well! Make sure it was an actual winkie we saw and not the umbilical cord or something!

Hello, ladies! 5 weeks (25 days) until Summer Break! Wahoo!!

OK, so we had our 3d/4d on Saturday....its a BOY!!! Aaron Joseph (AJ)!!! So excited! We went to BRU and Target right afterwards and bought winter clearance clothes! We also looked at all the big ticket items and decided what we wanted to register for. I'll go back Wednesday and start the registry b/c I am working half a day (get off at 11:30) for my 3pm prenatal appt and need something to do until the appt!

Whoo hoo!! Can't believe we have a baby boy in there!

Ariel Congrats on the boy!

We had an unsual Easter. We moved my DSis out of her house. She has terminal cancer and her lease is up at the end of the month. It had the potential to be really bad, but due to fantastic friends (of my DSis) it went really easy. I had a nice day on Saturday because no one wanted to me get hurt in my "condition" I was put in charge of helping my Dsis as her nurse maid so I got to spend hours with her. It was nice - she lives about 10 hours from me so it may be the last time I get that with her
