I'm so excited for you! 10 more days for you...10 more WEEKS for me :rotfl:

I'm so excited too!!!! I can't believe it's already here!! :banana::banana:

It doesn't seem real. Not at all. The next ten weeks will FLY, trust me! You'll be right where I am thinking "Huh? Seriously? 10 days?" :confused3

I'm off to make a peanut butter fudge pie for tomorrow... I've got one last venture out to DH's neck of the woods before baby comes!
Hopefully mine turns out as good as the picture...

(sorry, I had to! :rotfl2:)

It'll be over before we know it! AHHHHH!!

Someone said to me the other day..."You only have one more month right?" And I was like NO!! I have 2!! 2 and a half if you go by weeks! :rotfl:

I do wish I could skip the next 9 weeks and just have her in my arms. I just can't wait to meet her!! I'm getting all mushy! :sad1::lmao:

I know! People look at me and say things like "won't be long now..." and I still have 10 weeks too! I'm ready to have this over with and see if my poor DH finally gets one that looks like him. (I am blonde-haired and green-eyed, he has black hair, and olive complexion, and brown eyes. I thought that would be dominant, but so far everyone looks like mom.)

I know! I get asked everyday and I'm all "just 10 more weeks!" Makes it seem like less time :lmao: I feel the same way...I just want him to be here already so I can cuddle him and love him :lovestruc

I hope so! I am so ready for him to be here!

And omg WHY did you have to post that picture...now I want some pie...BAD :rotfl: That looks delicious!

It really will fly by-seems like yesterday I was counting it down in weeks, and now she is 9 days old!

On a personal note:upsidedow, I forgot to post about the witch hazel soaked frozen pads! They worked really well! I'm still using them a couple of times a day. They are a.....shock:scared1:....at first! Dh has a whole new respect for me-when he figured out what they were, he proclaimed that I was the true "man" of the house!:rotfl:

I know, I know, I'm mean! I couldn't help it!

Best news, though, is that it's SUPER easy to make! I'm going to make one for my family cookout on Monday, too! I am going to crush Reese cups up to mix into it, though. Yummy!

Here is the recipe, can I say EASY? (Better yet, cool whip and cream cheese are on sale almost everywhere right now because it's memorial day! :rotfl:)

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 OREO Pie Crust (6 oz.)
1/4 cup hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed

BEAT cream cheese, sugar and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP.

SPOON into crust; drizzle with fudge topping. Swirl gently with knife.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until firm. Refrigerate leftovers.

I hope you are right about how fast it goes - i can't wait to meet this baby - and I'm only 19 weeks!

Thanks for letting us know about the frozen witch hazel pads- I'll have to try it!!

And good for your Dh realizing it :)

I just had dinner and I am full, but that picture of the pie is making me want some. Evil!

Piecey- I can't believe you are just 10 days away. That is soooo awesome! I still have 5 weeks. Everyone thinks I will be a week early. Hmm.... only time will tell.

Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend.:thumbsup2

Sorry about the pie. :guilty: :rolleyes1

Almost 9 now!
I'm so ready to meet the little guy, it still seems like yesterday when I said to DH "Uh, honey, you might want to come in here." :rotfl:

I can't believe that I'm 2nd on the list!! One more baby and then it'll be ME posting pictures (my poor kid will have a camera phobia from all the pictures I'll be taking!).. Seems like not too long ago I was on the very bottom. :upsidedow

I had my first of two 3/4D ultrasounds today!!! He kicked and squirmed the whole car ride there and then went to sleep... he is difficult like his father lol. It was still very cool to watch him and the video clips are just amazing!

I only have 4 DAY'S until my little girl is here. This pregnancy went by so fast compared to my first. I am scheduled for a repeat c-section and getting more nervous as time goes by. :scared:

(sorry, I had to! :rotfl2:)

I saw this recipe this month in Kraft Food magazine...but you are more motivated than me making it. I saved it to make for my DH someday, he loves PB.

Caitty and Patsy, your little ones are going to be here before we know it. And that means the next group of us move up to the top of the list!!!:scared1: I can't believe Tuesday will make me 36 weeks!!! Time flies ladies, it seems like we all just started to chat and become friends on this thread.

Melissa, the U/S pics were so cute. Thanks for sharing. They must have made you feel great to see and meet your little man.

Has anyone heard from Maggie? It seems like she has not posted in a bit, unless I just missed her posts....just trying to track everyone.

Okay, we'll see how well I did being tech-savvy.

You guys don't have to watch, but this is the ultrasound clip I took on May 6th. You can see his spine, heart and face pretty clearly... his hands and feet have taken me tons of times of watching (on a big screen TV) to figure out... :rotfl:

I love the last one! What a great shot!! You guys got some really, really good ones!!

When are you going to do the next one?? It'll be so neat to compare the progress he makes! :lovestruc

caitty13 I can't imagine when I get to only 4 days (which is sad, since I've got barely double that!)
You must be so scared/excited!

...I really need to pack my hospital bag :rolleyes1

I have the babies bag ready but not mine. The way I look at it is if I go into labor I will have 10 minutes to pack the bag prior to leaving the house. Otherwise I will just wait until the last minute and do it wednesday night. I did get the carseat installed though. Just in case.

Crap.

I knew there was something else on the list!

I waited to put the carseat in so we would have as much room to move things as possible but I think it's time to just do it now! :scared1:

I'm the same way- Lucas' things are in the bag, but nothing for myself. Except a pair of Old Navy flip flops to use as shower shoes... I somehow think I might need a little bit more than that, though...

Hey! Im here, just lurking a bit! Not too much to report other than I have popped! I look pregnant now! LOL. And overnight it seems that things have shifted north quite a bit. Ive carried really low the entire time and now im starting to see things climb and look more like a pregnancy belly.

Skylarr- Great 3-D photos. Although I will admit I cant make out some of them (im not good at u/s photos). I always look at yours and think "maybe my baby boy looks like that"-- since we are only a week apart in due dates. How exciting!

Piecey- Wow-- you better get that bag packed sister! You could take photos of your stuff and show us so some of us who havent done this before remember things to pack!

Lots of babies coming soon! Im excited!

The pictures of all the new babies on here are adorable. :lovestruc I feel like I joined this thread so long ago (even though I've only posted a few times), and now my time is coming on really soon. We've got about 9 - 10 weeks left, and still so much to do to get ready.

DH and I had a 4D ultrasound last weekend, and we are even more in love with our little Isabelle than before. She's got THE FATTEST cheeks ever (which look just like baby pictures of me) and daddy's great big feet.

Love all the 4-d pictures ladies! Aren't they just the most amazing thing? I loved getting to see Jake in such good detail. It melts your heart :lovestruc

Piecey - wow, that's an awesome keepsake you have! Our doctors office doesn't do video or allow you to tape, so we just have to settle for our memories. I was able to make out most of the details, especially in the very beginning with his little face.

Skylarr - love the pictures. Thanks for sharing them. They are so detailed it's crazy! When do you get to go back again? I bet the difference will be just as amazing.

Maggimus - wait until you get 'the shelf' lol. My DSIL pointed that out to me over Mother's Day and I just laughed. I thought I was really low before but I feel like he's not going to stay that way for 19 more days. Any lower and I'll have no lap left! Did you see my note about the diapers?

Caitty - I'll come pack your bag for you! :) I packed mine a few days ago because with DS1 they sent us from the doctor to the hospital. I wouldn't have had time to pack everything if I hadn't done it before. I barely had enough time to clean up and not look like a mess going into L&D. DH would have stuffed random things in there (I'm thinking he's looking around saying yep... this, and this, and that? why not?), although we only live 5 minutes away from the hospital. But still, I would pack your toiletries at least.

The best thing we packed was our Canon photo printer. It only does 4x6 so we took a photo with everyone that came to visit with the baby and printed it before they left. It was a fun way to thank the nurses when we left too. I'm so happy we have a laptop now so I can bring it with this time. I also brought my own nightgowns because the 2 hospital gowns they snap together got really old fast. Just pack what you think you would need for a long weekend or sleepover. :thumbsup2

Great pics everyone!! Thanks so much for sharing!!

I had my first shower yesterday--the work one...my assistant and boss spent way too much money on me and the shower, but it was really fun and so nice to celebrate with everyone.

My assistant manager got me a Sleep Sheep...anyone have one of those? You hook it to the outside of the crib and it simulates womb sounds...mother's heartbeat and stuff...it's adorable. My mom came too and my other assistant got her a Grandma Remember's book which she was sooo thrilled about.

Today DH and FIL are finishing up painting Lily's room and my dad's coming over to put the new fan in the living room. I get to just stay out of the way! :-)
