For me, it is my good old nike cross trainers. They are the most comfy, no blisters, and my feet NEVER feel tired in them. They don't look very chic, but they feel great.
I use to do runners, but my feet were hot and tired. Now for WDW days I have a nice pair of North Face walking sandals. They keep my feet cool, they dry fast and my feet don't get tired. For non-disney days I were flip flops to give my feet a different support and feel. Good luck!!!
still using my good old running shoes, it's the only place that I don't care that my shoes are 'in fashion' with the rest of my outfit, we like to walk fast! I have tried some of the walking sandles, but still end up uncomfortable without the good support and wearing socks seems to help.
Bare Feet sandals - mine were about $45 and they were heavenly! They are leather, but were dry (after Splash Mountain where I was the most soaked person on the boat) in about 30 minutes. (We made a full trip around the park on the train and they were dry.) I did have to replace them after the trip, but I plan to buy another pair for March.
I love my Crocs in Disney. They are so comfy. I have weird feet and usually need my running shoes with my orthotics to do that much walking, but on our last trip the Crocs won hands down. Gotta be comfy when treking around the "World"!
Thanks guys. I think I will stick with my Merrils this trip and Maybe dig up my running socks.
I notice a LOT of people like Crocs. I have always stayed away from them after all the escalator incidents, but they are so cheap now. Are they really that comfy?
Keens or New Balance Walking shoes. Tried Crocs the one trip and they killed my feet. Use them only for running the garbage out or to get the mail now.
Teva Mush flip flops, Montrail Molokini flip flops, or Sanuck Yoga Mat flip flops! I can't stand tennis shoes down there--too hot and too uncomfortable.
I always take too many shoes when we go to WDW, but I like to alternate so that my feet don't get too sore.
I love my Bare Trap sandals. They run about $40 a pair and they have different styles. They don't last me more than a year, but I wear them almost every day because they are so comfy...even walking at WDW.
I can only wear my tennis shoes for a short amount of time before they start hurting my arches. I've also got a pair of Doc Marten sandals, but those get really heavy after a couple of hours.
The Bare Traps are light and most of them come with pretty cushy soles.
I have Merrell Sienna sandals. They did GREAT at WDW. Also, Teva Mush flip flops. Tevas were BAD. I did serious analysis and I understand why.
My feet seriously flattened out with all the walking and standing at WDW! It was like being pregnant all over again! Anything that had a strap over the feet would end up being so UNCOMFORTABLE. The design of the Siennas and flip flops worked, even with my flattened feet.
I don't do athletic shoes. I'm a sandal girl. Don't like socks. Dont' like my feet enclosed. I don't normally wear them so if I try to wear them at WDW, I'm miserable.
I am a flip flop girl and I love the Reefs. I had a pair when I was preg with DD who was born in Sept. I wore them all summer. I got another pair this summer and wore them every day in WDW. Brought sneakers but didn't wear them once. The kids wore the crocs for a few days but got blisters so we switched to sandals.

I love my Merrell Mary Jane, very cool, dry quickly and the first shoe that did not leave me with blisters after the first day yet still stylish. There are many different colors available now and I am up to three pair. Love them, wear them to work everyday also. I also take my Mickey Crocs to wear to and from the pool.
