Mom's At It Again! ***Updated 4/30/2009~Trip Report Link**

Oh my god, I can't believe you are leaving for Disney in 3 DAYS!!! Are you all ready to go. My bags will be at my door when we're 3 days out:goodvibes

wow I got way behind....I'm sorry.

Love all the celebration days. That certiantly look like they are getting you in the mood.

When I was scrolling (msp?) thru, Mae saw the picture of the sorry game...and asked "Why are they playing our game?" :rotfl:

The moroccan festival looked great. I will have to try that baklava...YUMMY!!!!!!

your list looks great too. I can't belive you only have a few days left till you leave.

J-

Yeah..KEEP UP, will ya??? LOL! I'm sure you are busy trying to get your life back to normal after your vacation....so not looking forward to that! :sad2:

I'm not really sure where that game came from, but we enjoyed it! I was the princesses, of course, because the boys didn't want to be....go figure??

Wow - your Moroccan Day looks like so much fun. It's so great that even Dan participates!

Yahoo for 4 Days!! :cheer2: :rockband::dancer::rockband::dancer::rockband: :cheer2:

Now we're at 3! Poor Isaiah is really having a hard time....he is SO excited and these last few days are killing him!

Just found your PTR it took me 2 hours :surfweb: to catch up. I love all your planning. As I sit here reading your PTR I am thinking I should be cleaning house or packing for our tirp :rotfl:. We will be down there the at the same time. Staying at :cool1: SSR for the first time and can't wait to see the resort. We are also leaving on the 28th on SWA to go back home .

Hi and WELCOME!! Thanks for reading...I often choose DISing over housework...like it's really a choice!! :lmao:

Cool that we'll be there at the same time! Do you have a LGMH I can look for??
What?

You're going to Disney World in three days!!!

Your Morocco day looked great--just think, next week, you'll be IN Morocco:thumbsup2 (or at least Disney Morocco).

I seriously like the mosiac idea. As a chef, I have decided I like cous cous better, cold as a salad with tomatoes and herbs and lemon/olive oil added. The hot version does not thrill me unless it is loaded with other stuff. Your chicken looked very yummy though, and I'm glad your family at least tried it.

See you real soon!

I've never tried cous cous that way...maybe I'd like it better. The chicken was really good. I like the lemon-citrus flavor and even the raisins...wasn't sure about those at first, but they were a nice touch.

ONLY 3 MORE DAYS!! :woohoo:

So I just finished reading, what a great set of pictures! Your boys look like fine young men! I had a heart attack thinking that one day my guys are going to look that old and we hopefully will still be going to Disney too! I was so happy to see that they were getting into the Disney Days fun! I always worry that suddenly they won't want to do stuff like that because it isn't "boyish" enough!! ALSO are you just jumping on the bed about your trip!!!!!! :yay::yay: I can't stand it! How fun for you! I hope all your final preparations are in order! Looking forward to the final hours countdown!

Thanks for the compliments about the boys. Very sweet! :flower3:

I think my oldest son is as excited as everyone else, if not more! They are very good sports and LOVE any kind of tradition so it's easy to get them to participate in certain things.

And YES...I am totally JUMPING ON MY BED with excitement! :jumping1: (may need to get a new bed upon return!)

Thanks for reading! ;)

They are as packed as they can be..just a few last minute additions that will wait till Saturday. But I AM READY!!! :dance3:

Yesterday was Day 4 of our "10 Days till Disney" celebration and it was time for Mickey Pasta and Meatballs. No matter how adorable my family is.....and they are!.....no one wants to see tons of pictures of them eating pasta! SO...I won't do that to you, but I will post a pic of the box of pasta and one of the boys enjoying it. I got the pasta at Aldi and the pasta itself was Mickey::MickeyMo, Donald:donald:, and Pluto pluto: shaped...too cute!

In other news...I was really done with all the shopping for the trip....really, I was! BUT.....I was at Wal-Mart today looking for fish tank filters for Jonah's fish and came upon these cute shoes for only $3!

Okay, I know they are knock-offs, but for $3 they are super cute! It's a good thing Dan was not with me...he always steers me away from the shoe department..wonder why?? LOL!

Also..LOOK HOW SHORT OUR COUNTDOWN CHAIN IS!!!!! :yay::yay:

Only 3 days to go now and I'm feeling good about where I am. Most everyone is packed, my list is getting done little by little, and excitement is HIGH!! Tonight we are going to look through our 2007 scrapbook and reminisce about our trip. Should be fun! :thumbsup2

WOW~!

You have to be TOOOO excited:banana::banana::banana:...I remember when I started reading your trip report and the countdown chain was LONG...only three links to go!!! The Mickey pasta is cute...we don't have an Aldi's here I will have to have my mom send me some from New York!

so fun....only 3 more nights in your bed...then off to Disney!!!!!

was the pasta yummy? still have to cook mine, maybe tonight as it needs to be a quick and easy prep plus eat meal as Michael has his step-up ceremony for Scouts from cub to a BOY!!!!!

and luckily as well I finished the huge class scheduling for the school event end of next month. so I may actually have some time to get my TR moving....

Have fun looking through your scrapbook I'd love to see some pictures.

Hey Missy! :goodvibes I have those shoes! But, I bought them a bit too big and they hurt my feet. Hey - at least they were cheap! :rotfl:

I wanted to stop by and wish you a fabulous trip because I probably won't get a chance to before you leave. I'm sad I won't be here for your big send off! I know you guys will have a fabulous time and I can't wait to hear all about it.

3........Days.....Left!!!!!!

By 3 days out on my calendar I'll probably need to pick up a package of Depends, I'll be so excited!!!!!

The pasta is very cute. Is Isaiah trying to determine which Disney head is on his fork? :rotfl: We don't have an Aldis close and now I'm coveting your pasta.

Can't wait to hear about your last couple of days.:goodvibes

I remember when the chain was long too....it always seems to stay long forever then all of a sudden it's short!!

The pasta was pretty tasty! My Cub Scout has his moving up ceremony tonight too! LOL! He's only moving from Wolf to Bear though. Still a Cub!

I'll try to take some shots of my fave layouts in the scrapbook. It will be fun to look through it with the boys tonight...even though it's not completely finished. (I came so close, but I still have one park day to finish and I don't think I'll be pulling it out in the next day or two!)

I figured the exact same thing about those shoes..oh well, if I hate them or if they hurt, they were only $3! I bought 7/8 and feel like they may be a bit small...I'm an 8 and I though the next size would be too big. :confused3

:sad1::sad1::sad1:Very sad that you won't be here for my send-off, but have an awesome weekend! I only have an iPod touch, no laptop, so there will be no live updates from me. :sad2: Thanks for all your input and advice!! :thumbsup2

Hey....you snuck in while I was responding to the other posts! ;)

I have NO IDEA what that boy is doing!! I fear I may not have a single picture of him on this trip with a "normal" face! He is a goof! :rolleyes1

Don't covet my pasta! :lmao: Want me to send you some when I get back? I'd be happy to if they still have it!

Oh my goodness, I just LOVE baklava...both baking it and eating it! I bake it for Christmas. Yummy.

You're almost there!

We have a Aldi to and I have not seen that mickey pasta how did you get so lucky. I am fairly new to the disboards so I not sure what LGMH means. So I'm guessing no. It's great that you do have your theme nights. I can't seem to find any extra time to do those things driving kids back and forth from school, baseball games, karate, birthday parties ect........

I love it too! My aunt and uncle introduced me to it when I was like 8 and I've loved it ever since. This is the first time I've tried to make it though!

A LGMH is a lime green mickey head...used by DISers to identify themselves in the parks so other DISers can say HI! Here's a pic of mine..I'll put them on my park bags.

Yeah..the running around has been an issue. All three boys have not been around for all of the theme nights...neither has DH for that matter! We just work around it and if you're here you participate! ;)

Almost here!!!! :goodvibes
