Hey, if you are willing to pay for it, I've got two girls that you can borrow! As long as I can come along and take pictures!

Angela, those pictures of Brianna are priceless. She's adorable. I can't wait to hear what the surprise you have for them is....popcorn::

I just had a great morning, and I wanted to share.

1. we tried a Korean restaurant here that we have never been to. WHY DID WE WAIT!?!?! Awesome. I have another favorite.

2. My mom made me a CD of baby pics she had of my kiddos. You may recall we lost our hard drive with ALL of the pics from our wedding and from the kids first years. Well, my mom also lost the wedding pics, but she had a bunch of baby pics and sent us a great CD. I'm so happy.

This is a drive by. I'll respond later, promise!

I've been on 2 cab rides in my life and neither of them were great........I avoid them at all costs! I would have called him some names in German.:rotfl2:

Brianna looks so cute! I wish my dd were young enough for bbb!

I can't wait to see what the surprise is!

Brianna looks so cute, she looks so different without bangs :goodvibes

What a nightmare cabbie you had, I can't believe he didn't take you to where you wanted to go

Brianna looks adorable!!!!!!!!!

I hate disney cabs BTW, you can get from one end of manhattan to the other for cheaper than a 10 min ride in a disney cab!

It's funny...we had horrible cab rides too! Cab ride #1: Pop Century to Sea World listening to cab driver talk to this lawyer about why the accident wasn't his fault. Cab ride #2: Sea World to Pop Century. "You can take us to Pop Century right?" He says "Yes" in a very confident way. 35 minutes later he is asking "Is it really called Pop Century? Where is it? Are you sure you're staying there?" Yes, sir, we came from there this morning. No I don't know the address and directions off the top of my head...we've been on Disney busses all week and not paying attention. Finally through sheer dumb luck got back to Pop and swore we'd never take a cab again.

Brianna looks so cute! I'm glad she decided to get her bangs gelled back; I've seen pictures of some little girls and their bangs look slicked down to their foreheads. And tell her I agree with her choice of shoes--those are some kickin' flipflops! Can't wait to see the photopass pictures!

Very sweet of Spencer to share his show with a new little friend.:goodvibes

Look at her cute little squishy nose!:wizard:

I love how sweet Spencer was. After the little girl not being able to see the iPod, he actually shut it off to keep her company?! What a sweet boy!:goodvibes

I tell u what... Brianna looks totally different with her hair all up! Adorable as always... but sooo different!! ... Great outfit choice :) I think if I ever let Mini do the full package she'd probably choose ariel too lol

What a sweet mommy lettin her get the purse too ::yes::

I just read your past two installments, so glad you had an excellent evening with YUMMY food and some good time with your HHBG.

The pics of Briana are adorable!

I look forward to the surprise...!

Stupid cabdriver! :headache:

I always stress when we have to be somewhere early, early!

Brianna is a vision in all her BBB glory!!!

How soon before she wanted her hair down? We did BBB last year with Chelsea, and she lasted until 9:00 (her appointment was at 2:30) before she wanted it back to normal.

Can't wait to find out the surprise!!!

She wanted it down after a few hours. We'll get to that. :)

Update soon!!

Oh the BBB pictures are so cute! I am having serious regrets about not taking Cat. Oh well. Maybe next trip!

-Becca-

Maybe! It was hectic, even at 8am, but it was fun....for a one time hting. I need to find out if you can just buy the makeup and outfit and skip everything else, that's what she was really into. :confused3

Love the BBB pictures.

Thanks!

she looks adorable, and i am sure that i will be suckered into doing that if i have a daughter when we go to the world, even though DW and i say that we will never do it..i am a softy.

Cant wait to hear about the surprise.

Of course you will end up doing it, if you have a little girl. But raise little park-hopper a little bit more first, lol.

Ok, the bit in the carriage had me cracking up! Way to de-stress!

B looks very happy with her transformation...

She was thrilled. :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness... what a little cutie!!! Brianna looks absolutely adorable.

ETA: What an amazing little guy that Spencer is; giving up watching his iPod so that another child wouldn't be bored. Truly fabulous, you must be so proud of him!

He has always been so good about sharing and thinking about others. He gets taken advantage of in school because of this, and his sister plays him like a violin, but it's so sweet how he thinka about others. he and the little girl had a grand time, and she ended up with the same FGIT we did at the end, so it was all good.

I know other people stepped up, but I know a little girl just a few short hours drive from you who has been clamoring to go again....:rolleyes1

I can't believe that cab driver! I don't understand why he didn't just take you to the Contemporary.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Some cab drivers are jerks. We had more problems with the drivers at WDW than we have ever had in NYC. This is NOT the last "stoopid cab driver" story. we were cursed this trip....

I can't wait to see what the surprise is!

I don't speak German, and both my French and Spanish are too weak to remember any curse words, except the SH word in both languages. My receptive french is good enough for me to know what he was saying though.

You're never too old for BBB!

Brianna looks so cute, she looks so different without bangs :goodvibes

He was a jerk.

I KNOW!! And NYC cab drivers have the worst reputations....of course some of them deserve it....:rolleyes1

It's funny...we had horrible cab rides too! Cab ride #1: Pop Century to Sea World listening to cab driver talk to this lawyer about why the accident wasn't his fault. We have a similar tale coming up later int he TR.....:rolleyes1

She still wears those flip flops everywhere. They're not allowed at school, so as soon as she comes home...

We have the CD now, but haven't uploaded pics yet.

I loved her squishy nose, too, but she was really bad about getting pics taken. She just refuses to look at he camera.

She was deciding between the ariel and Jasmine....it's a belly thing....:rotfl2:

FREEEEEEENNNNNCCCHHHHH FOOOOODDDDD (insert drooling smiley here)
Surprise soon!

Chapter 17: SURPRISE!!

When we last left our intrepid heroes, they were standing in front of the BBB, Brianna in all of her regalia, Spencer antsy and bored out of his wits, and Mommy and Daddy with a lighter wallet. Spencer and Brianna were both all ready to go on the rises, which were beckoning them from our spot inside the castle, but WAIT.....we had a surprise......

Now, those of you who read my PTR already know what this surprise is...and probably can’t believe we actually managed to keep it......

Yes, the surprise is......

BREAKFAST WITH CINDERELLA!!!!!

That’s right. We had an 8:05am appointment at the BBB to accommodate our 9:15 ADRs for breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal table. We walked right across the little walkway and up to the podium at CRT. We got our little stained glass check in ticket, and got into the HUGELY LONG LINE to get our pictures with Cinderella.

Well, we waited and waited and waited. They called our name to be seated, and we raised our hands to show them we were about to have our pics taken, and then we were there with Cindy....and Spencer was being a dork.....figures. He has some sort of camera disease, I swear. He starts jumping around and being all hyper while people try to take a nice picture. I have NO idea why he does this.

So, I took a few pictures of the two of them with Cindy, then we yanked him out fo the nice keeper photo, so it wouldn’t be a complete waste of money. So Brianna got her first set of pictures of just her and Cinderella.

Here’s one of my shots we ordered Spencer to stand still, so he is pouting and refuses to look at the camera:

DSCN1111.jpg

We got our sword and wand, and headed upstairs to our waiting breakfasts. We lucked out and were seated right at a window overlooking fantasy land. The kids were bugging us to go on Dumbo, but we told them the line was too long, so we would go on the following day.

Other than that, what can I say about CRT? The food was decent. Not bad, not awesome, but good and edible. I loved the fruit bowl, since that is what I usually eat for breakfast, anyway. The kids and HHBG loved the pastries. It was a little bit hectic in there, but it was a god time. The princesses were nice and spent good time with the kiddos, too.

Here’s some princess shots:

Snow white....spencer is off jumping around somewhere:

Aurora (Look how thrilled Spencer is):

Spencer’s girlfriend....I mean Jasmine....he could NOT keep his eyes off of her jewels. :sad2:
DSCN1118.jpg

And of course, Belle. Why do they have her coming to the “royal breakfast” in her peasant wear??? It doesn’t make sense to me.....
DSCN1120.jpg

All too soon (for Brianna), bnreakfast was over, and it was time to go on rides....Oh wait!! Poor Spencer. It was time to go get Brianna’s pictures taken. HHBG and I decided to split up. I took Brianna for her pictures (which I still haven’t uploaded), and HHBG took Spencer off. I have no idea what the boys did, but Brianna hammed it up for the camera. I’ll find the CD and upload the pics later.

When Brianna was done with her pictures, I called HHBG, and we decided to meet in tomorrowland. Buzz lightyear was calling our name. In line for Buzz, Brianna decided that she wanted the hardware out of her hair, so we removed the tiara and clip, but left the bun. It looked a little silly, but I figured she’d want it back in soon. I rode with Brianna, and Spencer was with HHBG. Well, right at the end, Brianna managed to hit a BIG Z, and ended up with a higher score than her mommy.....I stink at video games. No job as a sniper in MY future. HHBG, of course, blew all of our scores away.

Next was the TTA. We had never taken the kids on this. Other than the scare on the moving walkway where Spencer froze up and we practically got run over, the ride was nice. The kids liked it pretty well.

WE just missed the next show on the laugh floor, so we headed over to frontier land. Tie for one of my favorite rides: haunted mansion. I like the refurbish pretty well, though it seemed like our sound wasn’t working super well. The kids were a little scared this time, so we didn’t go back. *pout*

It was time for the “mountain” run, so we fast-passed Splash mountain, and got on stand by for Big Thunder Mountain RR. The kids love the “runaway train” ride. Pretty quickly it was time for some Splash....of course MOMMY was the one who got soaked. Figures. After Splash, we grabbed fast passes again as we left, Brianna made me take her hair out (sigh), and we headed over to adventure land.

The park was starting to get crowded, but we had never been on the Jungle cruise, so we decided to give it a try. The line SAID 5 minutes, and there were maybe 2 boats worth of people on the stand by line, so we went in. GAH!!!!

Just as we got in line, TWO high school groups, and a Brazilian tour group came up into fast pass....I have no idea how they determine who gets to go on those boats, but the loaded up from the ast pas line over and over and over again and never even LOOKED at the stand by line. Then a few empty boats went by....the some more people showed up for the fast pass line.

Finally AN HOUR AND A HALF later, we got on a boat. We had a horrible skipper Her delivery stank, no one on the boat laughed at all, and we got off thinking that there was no way we would ever rigde the jungle cruise again.

To cheer ourselves up, we rode on Pirates. I have not liked this ride so much, ever since they did the taming of the ride in the late 80s. It’s OK, but not great like it used to be. It’s really “kidded down”. I know I’m in the minority on this opinion, but I liked the more realistic portrayal of a pirates life, with the dirtiness and nastiness there.

We finished up with another ride on Splash, where I again got SOAKED! And it was off to wait for the boat.

The boat came and took us to our resort, and we walked back to the hotel. This is where something that REALLY upset me occurred.....

As we were walking back to the room, we passed a family with two ladies and a bunch of 8-12 year old girls. AS we passed them, one of the ladies announces to the other lady in her b**chiest tone, and loud enough to be heard in Guam:

“I wish I could dress like a hooker in Disney world!”

All I can say is, thank goodness HHBG grabbed me and dragged me to our room. I was going to ask her why she though she wasn’t dressed like one. :rolleyes2:

Seriously, you don’t like how my kid is dressed, keep your darn mouth shut. And WHO uses the word “hooker” in front of 8-12 year old girls??? I would not want to have to explain what a hooker is and why I used the term to describe a 4 year old to MY daughter.....

Besides, she looked cute. A four year old can get away with showing ALL of her belly in the parks. She’s FOUR. All she knows is that she looks like Ariel. It’s not like I let my 12 year old get the outfit.....jeez.

OK, rant over. I really went off in our room, after the kids were asleep for their naps, and while we were on the porch, though. I whispered like a mad woman. Witch.....

Coming soon: POUNDS of seafood.....would I chase it with milk, like one famous DISer??

Ahh someone else is annoyed by Belle's peasant clothes! He (DH) would not stop about that. Why is she all dressed up in Norway but thinks its okay to dress like a villager at the castle? Over and over again.

Oh and that lady! You have more restraint than I do. My DD (cat) dances and spends a lot of time in a dance top and shorts where her stomach is exposed. The rule is she can't dress like that except going to and from dance. Once I stopped quickly at a store to pick up some medicine for He and some.. lady (if you can call her that) Said something about my DD being a slut. I almost killed her.

Brianna is so cute and its Disney. She is dressed in a Disney costume. I really don't get people. And who says Hooker at Disney? That woman needs to get her mind out of the gutter and into the magic of being a child at Disney... or she just needs to leave. Either is fine with me.

-Becca-

  If that was us I wouldn't have had time to do anything before DH ripped into her. How can you even think of refering to a 4 year old like that???? I just don't get people :furious:

For what it's worth I though she looked absolutely adorable!!!
