Mommy..Lotso is a Jerk!!

Did anyone else pick up on the fact that the garbage man who takes Lotso at the end was Sid? Or did I read that wrong somewhere? lol

Thanks for the compliments!

We got THOSE stickers straight from the Sandy Lion Sticker Warehouse (which is 10 minutes from my home) but they are just the same stickers you get for bedroom and playroom walls at Walmart/home depot etc etc).

We lost a couple of the smaller ones on the trip, but the big ones were solid.
To apply them we just used soapy water on the area we wanted to apply the sticker, placed it, adjusted it to where we needed it, and then used a credit card to squeegee out the water to seal it. To remove them at the end of the trip we just peeled them off.

The markers are Crayola Window Markers. Due to the tinting, we had to apply on the outside, and we hit a rain storm 6 hours into our drive and it all washed off.. (not that that was a problem i just quickly re-did it).

This year our theme is mischief makers. (Stitch, Lotso, Donald Duck, Pluto) ;)
as well as a custom 25X25 inch hood decal (art provided by the fine folks on the diSign boards!).

I will post pics once it is complete!

Awesome! Thanks so much for the tips. We are driving down for the first time and am so excited about having our van decorated for the road trip.:wizard:

I think I would let her interact with LOTSO as long as she knows she cant hit or kick....I think its part of what Disney actually wants...They can interact with all the good characters why not the bad....The bad ones give it right back too...its part of the experience....i would like a youtube video of the interaction if it happens....:rotfl2:

I told DD the story that Lotso was just acting mean and was really a nice bear. She said "no one is that good of an actor..he must be mean on the inside". My 6 year old -almost 7 yr old-talks like she is 20! She went on to say "she is not buying it!". (Meaning my story). She said she does not want her picture with him, and if I make her stand near him, she is going to put on a miserable face for the picture. I guess this is progress, considering last night she wanted to tell him off..;)
That will make an awesome photo and memory for your family. Villains that interact with park guests are great. My favorite park photo is myself and two friends all making mean faces with The Grinch. My wife also has a special fondness for our picture with Cruella -- the evil one stepped between us, lovingly caressed my arm and gave DW an icy glare / cold shoulder, perfectly captured by the Photopass photographer.

Apparently, when I was little, I punched Donald Duck. I do not recall this incident, so I must have been very young. But my family likes to remind me of this. Not that your daughter should punch the bear, but I'm guessing it happens.

Don't stomach-punch Lotso. He is just an actor.

The guy who is RESPONSIBLE for the Lotso character
being so mean is THIS guy:

Chief Creative Officer of animation for the Walt Disney Company,
John Lassiter (as seen at a little kids' Meet and Greet.)
