Heck on the wine--Gin is a beautiful thing Water it down with some olive juice/throw in some olives (instant dirty martini) and let it work its magic Talk about a relaxer Just make sure it is good and cold! Yum!

Yep, I tell her Im still trying to get rid of the baby fat I gained when I had her. Never mind the fact shes 10 years old.

A couple days ago me and DH were enjoying some adult beverages. DH had a beer, and I was drinking some Smirnoff Twisteds (or something like that).

I asked DS (9 tomorrow) to go grab me one out of the fridge. He comes up, formally hands it to me and says...

"Here is your happiness in a bottle"

He is smart beyond his years...

I can really relate to this - so can my DH. My DH and I dont really drink - we dont keep any alcohol in the house - not for any reason other than we just dont drink at home. We rarely drink away from home either. BUT a few weeks ago DH took DS (19 mths) to the grocery store for the first time (I usually do the shopping). DH came home an hour later - and had a 12 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade! I cracked up - I told everyone how taking DS to the store had driven DH to drink!

I think my book would be called: Mommy drinks because your behavior while cutting your 2-year molars makes her. I KNOW DS is hurting - but boy, so are WE!!! ha ha
