Momma Melrose

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has ever had lunch at Momma Melrose in Disney-MGM. We are looking into planning out a day there, with a late lunch and an early showing of Fantasmic, so I was hoping to get some feed back on this restaurant. Thanks!

My son and I loved it! The food was good and the service was great.
We ate there using the Fantasmic Package, there was too much food for the 2 of us. But I would eat there again it was delicious.

Every time we have eaten at Momma's it has been fantastic! The food is excellent and the service is some of the best we have ever had a WDW. We like it much better than The Brown Derby for the Fantasmic choice. TBD was really stuffy and the service was not good and my DS had to be careful not to break stuff. I just feel like I can relax more at MM.

Once we had a server who brought us free dessert for our anniversary and had US sign HER autograph book. She says she always wants to remember her guests. I thought that was great!!

We love Mama Melrose's! Had lunch there 4 years ago and dinner there last week! Wonderful waitstaff, nice ambiance, delish food. I had an off-the-menu request last week and they easily fulfilled it (I just wanted plain spaghetti marinara...really yummy there). The bread is so good. Aaah. Can you tell I'm hungry?

BTW, the night we went, it was almost empty! Our PS was really not necessary.

Wish we were eating there again tonight.

We love this restaurant for lunch. Great flatbreads, great calamari and perhaps the most consistently wonderful service we find at any restaurant in WDW...and that is saying something! The servers are simply fantastic!

We've only been to this restaurant once and it was 3 or 4 years ago. We went to Mama Melrose's b/c we had never tried it and it was part of a fantasmic dinner thing. They gave you tickets to sit in a certain section of fantasmic for after dinner. Therefore the waiter knew we had to be done with dinner by a certain time but he was still extremely slow. The food was not that good, it was very cold, probably b/c the waiter took forever. However, I have been reading alot of positive posts about this restaurant lately so maybe we'll give it another try. Maybe we were there on an off night???
