Sooooo excited that you are started on your TR!! That stinks that you had to wait on a tire to get changed on the airplane. That was because you weren't quite in Disney yet, where all things are magical.

Yay, for the no work zone. I hope he stuck to it the whole vacation. My DH always says he's not going to work, but then ends up on the phone half the time.

Can't wait to hear more.

You are completely right about the airport NOT being "magical"! Cory did really great while we were gone, I think he only sent a few emails from his phone, and almost all of those were done at night before bed! I was actually really surprised and super happy he could "disconnect"!!

Made it! Great title...isn't that the truth though?!

Thanks Sarah, that bus sure toys with us doesn't it??? I have A LOT to catch up on your TR too this weekend, maybe for Mother's Day I will just ask for 2 hours of alone "DIS time"!!!

Hi Beth! Looking forward to hear about your trip! I'm sorry I didn't see you at the TSM dash. We were in the line furthest to the right. We were the third family in the line, and I kept getting up on my tippie toes and looking back and all around me for DISers, but the people that started filling in behind us started giving me weird looks. Then it got so crowded I knew the chances were getting slim I'd spot you. I think I saw Amy, but it was twice from a distance and we were headed in opposite directions. I guess it just wasn't a good meet up day, but I hope you had a fabulous time and got a chance to do all you planned!

HI ALICIA!!! WOW! You did great getting to TSMM so fast! We didn't walk through the main gates until almost 9:10 so you were probably already in line!! We LOVED it though and I didn't think the crowds were too bad that day!!! Can't wait to read all about your trip and see how many times we "almost" crossed paths!!!

Okay, where did I leave off...oh, yes...waiting on the airplane...

I saw them rolling away the "old" tires and we were shortly up in the air! 3 hours to get from MSP-MCO! Not too bad...I wasn't sure how Helen would do. Gabe and my parents sat across the aisle from Helen and Cory and I. Gabe did AWESOME the entire flight, colored, played Toy Story Uno, ate his snacks, looked at books and was just a peach!!

Helen had a bit of a tougher time, but I was happy that I decided to leave the carseat at home. She was pretty squirrely and she would have probably spent the whole time kicking the seat in front of her! We kept her as busy as we could. We had a lot of turbulence so getting up and moving around wasn't an option!

Then after EXACTLY 3 hours we landed in Orlando!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really happy to get off that plane!! We hit the bathrooms and headed to the Magical Express area!!!!

We walked right in our line and right up to our bus!!!! It was a Cruise Bus, but Gabe was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to be on a Cruise Bus! (Last trip he got the 3 pack of Disney buses and was sad to only be able to ride 2 of them, his dream came true!!!!)

I couldn't agree more Sarah, I saw a few Mears buses and prayed that we didn't get one!! The Cruise buses were nice and still had the "Disney feel" to them!! We were happy!

Hi Beth, I'm here! Reading your story just reminded me that we had to pull over before we hit the runway so the wings could be de-iced! I joked with Jed on the way back that I wondered if they would need to be de-iced in Orlando...on the day that it was 94 degrees outside... I can't wait to hear more about your trip!

We love getting to the Magical Express area...it's like the vacation has finally begun! Unfortunately, we ended up with a Mears bus this trip to take us to Pop on our arrival day. But, in all fairness it wasn't so bad. They still had the cute Disney video and the seats were pretty comfy, so I can't complain.

OKAY!! I am sure you are all on pins and needles because I am FINALLY getting to the good stuff!!! I know the traveling and such are nice, and yes it's fun to see the kiddos, but I am sure you all are more interested to hear about our resort AND of course all of the fun in the parks!!!!

We had an easy ride on the ME bus! It was POFQ, OKW, and two others and I thought for sure we would probably be the last stop, NOPE WE WERE THE FIRST STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kids already LOVED LOVED LOVED riding on the bus, Gabe kept looking out the window at the ponds hoping to see an alligator and Helen was being silly watching the video and trying to see outside too!

We unfortunately had to sit in the middle of the bus so our pics of the most wonderful sign in the whole world weren't too great, but this what we got:

We were so happy when our bus pulled right in to French Quarter!!! I was SO excited!!!!!!!!!!! (The rest of them were excited too...)

We got our stroller and carry bags and walked right into the on-line check-in desk!! NO LINE!! I was so excited to find out where our room was. We only booked a standard room and our only request was connecting rooms!! It was about 4:30pm by now, we got our connecting request and were given building #2!!!!! Room #'s 2317 and 2318! The gals at check-in gave the kids buttons, "1st visit" for Helen and "I'm Celebrating" for Gabe, and they each got some beads!! She also told me I had a package waiting and I had no idea what it could be! SURPRISE!!! Our TA from Magical Vacations sent a Mickey and Minnie for Gabe and Helen!!! It was so sweet of her to do that!!! They were so surprised and excited!!! We then took our short walk to building 2 to get into our rooms!!!

The pool is on the left and that's our building on the right. Our rooms were down to the right just a little bit and up on the 3rd floor right by the elevators!! PERFECT!!!!

At that point we thought...we are FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love how everyone is so excited to finally be there! don't you just love that feeling...you may get giddy arriving on other vacays but the feeling is indescribable when you arrive at Disney!
