Mom & Son Going Back - Another 10 days of Deluxe Dining! Ch Ch Ch Changes!

Hello, Hello! I am so excited to say that I just made all of my ADR's for August! DS and I will be traveling with DH plus my sister and her family will be joining us for a couple of days so there will be a TON of pictures!

I know it is way to early to start a dining report but I wanted to share my reservations and then put this on hold til August!

Quick background ... DS (now 15) and I took a very special Mom & Son trip in 2008. I did my first dining review for that trip. DH then came with us in 2009 and we did Disneyland last year. I am soooo looking forward to going back to WDW! On our 2008 trip, DS became somewhat adventurous and tried many new things. He has continued the trend! We are all foodies and the dining in Disney is a huge part of the trip for us!

So ... here is where we will eat & review 180 days from now:

Thursday, August 25th -

DS and I will be driving in to Disney from my sisters this morning. DH will fly in at night.

Lunch at Paradiso 37. New
Dinner at Garden Grove. New and a Restaurant.com coupon!
Once DH arrives at POP, we will probably just grab a pizza as it will be late.

Friday, August 26th -

Lunch at Mama Melrose's - haven't been here since 2004. Time to give it another try.

Dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel - new for us

Saturday, August 27th with my sister & her family -

Lunch at Tony's Town Square - has been hit & miss in the past, but we are giving it one last try

Dinner at The Plaza - old fav

Sunday, August 28th - still with Sis for breakfast & lunch

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's - old fav for characters, not food!
Lunch/Snack at T-Rex - for my 5 year old nephew, new for all
Dinner at Narcoossees' - just the 3 of us, new for us

Monday, August 29

Breakfast at The Wave - new for all for BK
DH & DS will be going to Typhoon Lagoon, I will do KTTK
Dinner at Artist Point - fav meal of our 2009 trip

Tuesday, August 30

Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks around the World Showcase
Dinner at Yachtman's Steakhouse - new for all of us

Wednesday, August 31

Breakfast at Boma - new for all of us
Lunch at Yak & Yeti
Dinner at California Grille - new for DH

Thursday, Sept. 1

Breakfast at 'Ohana - new for DH
Linner at Brown Derby for Fantasmic Pkg - fav of DH's

Friday, Sept 2

Lunch at Rose & Crown - old fav
Dinner at Via Napoli - new for all of us

Saturday, Sept 3

Breakfast at Kouzzina - new for all of us
Lunch at Tokyo Dining - new
Dinner at 'Ohana late request from DH, Shocked I was able to get it this late!
Sunday, Sept 4

Lunch at Le Cellier - fav or all of us, but especially DS
Dinner at Garden Grill - new for us (but DH and I ate there back in 1991 on our honeymoon when it was something else)

Monday, Sept 5

Breakfast at Kona Cafe
Pick up Sandwiches for the Plane at Earl of Sandwich

Whew! A lot of food ... A lot of fun!!

Already made a change ... going to take my sister & her family to Kona for dinner rather than the Wave. I think they will like the menu better and it has been a favorite of ours in the past. Added a breakfast for the three of us at The Wave.

Also moved Narcoossee's later to hopefully catch Wishes!

Already made more changes! Figured with my 5 year old nephew it may be easier to stay in MK as they only have one day. So LTT for lunch, Tony's for dinner. I am happier with Tony's lunch menu than the dinner one but really don't like LTT for dinner now that there are no characters. So, it is what it is. Course if my sister ends up cancelling her plans, I will be scrambling to find DS, DH and I some other places to eat!

Ooh!! You and I will be at Disney World at the same time and we're even eating at some of the same restaurants (just not at the same time!) and we're not doing as many ADRs. I plan to do a dining review as well so it'll be fun to compare. Can't wait!

yay! Where are you eating? We love, love dining at Disney. Some day I hope to be able to say that I have eaten at every restaurant on property! Course they have to somehow change Hollywood & Vine first!
