hmmm, i think the H&V characters were two Little Einstein's characters- Hand Manny and maybe someone from JoJo's circus? all preschool shows on disney channel. I've never watched JoJo, but have caught the little einstein's before.

Wow, great deal on the flights!!! you must be so excited!

definitely use online check in for the music- POP Warner stays at the all stars and hopefully they won't be coming in that early, but you could run into a few.

for transport to the poly, as you know, you will have to take a bus to a park and then transfer to a bus to Poly (or monorail it from MK or TTC). I imagine a cab would be less than $10, but not sure. We did a cab from WL to Dolphin (for dinner at Shula's and drink around the world showcase). we didn't want to drive or wait on a bus, so we cabbed it. pretty easy. front desk called them for us.

I think we will probably just cab it with our luggage so it's faster and easier, then we can leave our luggage at the Poly and head to DHS for EMH!!!!

We are only going to be there the one night and probably pretty tired so Pop Warner kids for one night won't bother me especially since I will be at the Poly after that and can relax...... Is it Dec yet????????????

The Play 'n' Dine characters are Leo and June from Little Einsteins, JoJo from JoJo's Circus and of course, Handy Manny. Little Einsteins are cute... they travel the world in their Rocket and learn about music, art, dance, etc. Leo is a conductor and June is a ballet dancer. I know nothing about JoJo other than she's a clown that does yoga.

I'd recommend cabbing it too. Never done a split stay before but I've heard stories.

We are flying Southwest, staying at All-Star Movies for the one night, going to DTD to eat at Earl of Sandwich

You would think I would just type it eh? But I like the pics!

I hope the characters aren't offended if I don't know who they are

I'm pretty sure we will end up in a cab since I want to be at DHS by 8 it will be the easiest way

Great plans-- I definitely recommend taking a cab to the Poly from ASM. I think it'll be worth the piece of mind. I can't imagine it being too expensive either-- maybe $10 at the most?? Plus, if you leave really early in the morning, I bet there won't be any traffic.

I think with our luggage and that early in the morning a cab will probably be the best choice

Hi! I'm another person traveling in December, looking forward to joining in on your fun! How cool to be going to the Poly and again at Christmas. This is our first Christmas trip and I am seriously pumped! We also have a split stay - ours is a Pop/CR trip.

After talking to a few other people who are more experienced in split stays, we are cabbing it. I have been told it'll be under $20 and save you thousands of gray hairs and headaches. It sounds like a $20 well spent to me!

Hope the job hunt becomes a new job soon!

Welcome aboard!!!! We stayed at the CR last December and had a fantastic time!!! If you want you can check out my TR from last year, the link is in my signature.

Taking a cab seems to be the majority vote and sounds like the easiest route, I'm sure that's what we will do

IF you are moving between two disney hotels- THEY will transfer your luggage for you! so you don't need to worry about that. When you check out of all star, just let them know you need your luggage transferred to the Poly and they will do it for you. I would just take with you any carry on type items you might need that day. Then when you check into the poly, they should have your bags stored for you and will take them to your room once your room is assigned and you check in. this is the beauty of a split stay on disney property- they move your bags for you while you are out enjoying a park!! so be sure and check into it!

I know they will move our bags for us but since we will be transferring so early in the morning in order to make it to EMH at DHS I thought it might just be easier to take them ourselves and leave them at the Poly

Help please......

For our arrival night I have us scheduled to eat at earl of Sandwich but I was reading a food report and now I think I wanna eat at Wolfgang Puck Express. The meatloaf looks great

If you have eaten at both of these places which would you suggest?

We will be paying out of pocket for this meal, will probably be very hungry after our flight and since we are paying OOP my 8 yr old can order whatever she wants instead of off the kids menu.
