Thank you all so much. I am so sorry for all of you that have had to go though this as well. I never imagined pain this bad existed. Even the good memories are agony at this point but I am praying that eases up eventually. She is still hanging in there as of now. She is sedated but can shake her head yes or no if asked a question. I really believe she is waiting on my older brother to make it there to say his goodbye before he goes. He was vacationing in FL and left as soon as he got word...he will be there this morning to see her.

My beautiful mama peacefully went to be with Jesus at 2:24am this morning in her sleep. I will miss her so, so much but after seeing her fight this horrible disease for 12 years I am relieved she is no longer in pain and suffering.

Yes, it's such a relief to know they are no longer suffering. That's what our head tells us. The heart is a whole other issue.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad for your mom that she's no longer in pain. But it's never easy, no matter how prepared you think you are. Allow yourself to take the time to grieve. I know how difficult it is to lose a young parent.
My prayers will be with you and your family during this holiday season. It's not going to be easy, but it sounds like you've got a very strong, close family. That's what's important right now.
