Thursday morning: Light breakfast in the lounge. Brian checked with the staff at the concierge desk about finding Eric, the marina/pool manager. They contacted him by phone and he remembered Noah. He told us to meet him by the pool in a few minutes. When we met him, he asked Noah how he liked the slide and told him he was glad he gave it a try. Then he held out his hands full of small characters. Noah took a Mickey and Goofy, then he gave some to each of the other kids as well. I even got a Minnie :earsgirl: . He walked with us to the bus stop and talked with us as we waited for the bus to MGM. What a nice guy!

We were at MGM for the gates to open at 8:45. Then waited at the end of Hollywood Blvd. for the rope drop. Em and Brian rode RnR while I hung out with the other 3 kids. We were able to make it back to Playhouse Disney in time to walk right into the 9:30 show. The 3 youngest really enjoyed this one. From there we walked into GMR, and then to Hollywood and Vine for a late breakfast seating at 10:30. There were only about 10-15 families in the whole place at the time, so we had lots of character interaction. Kids got ice cream for their dessert and Pluto came by and stuck his nose in it. That got a lot of laughs from the little ones. Of course, I had to be "Mom" and wipe his nose off for him. The food was not as good as I remember from other visits...

Brian took the kids and headed towards Star Tours while I went to get a Fast Pass for WWtBaM. While Brian, Emily, and Noah did Star Tours, I took the 2 little ones back to Playhouse Disney. They had as much fun this time as the first time. (Oh, my husband and I did carry a set of 2-way radios with us so we could find each other when we split up like this.) After Playhouse it was time for WWtBaM. If I didn't have kids with me, I could probably do that one over and over. I enjoyed it. The host was very "Regis-like". I took the 3 youngest to Voyage of the Little Mermaid (doggone I hate those cattlecar waiting rooms for the shows!) while Brian and Emily went to do ToT. Then we met back up and went to Al's Toy Barn to see Buzz, Woody, and the Green Army Men. Did MuppetVision (moooo.... more cattle car, but at least not as crowded), then grabbed some pavement in front of the ABC theatre for the parade. AWESOME parade, probably the best one they have. The "emcee" asked a trivia question about Monster's Inc, and Emily won a MI video for getting the answer right.

5:15 PS at Prime Time.... Cousin Christopher was GREAT! I wanted to take him home with us. He had a kind of Jerry Lewis thing going on. Embarrassed Emily by feeding her her mashed potatoes ("Here comes the train...") and blowing on a train whistle. Great interaction between the servers in our section as well. One table near us got into trouble a lot.... had to perform "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "I'm a Little Teapot."

Headed to get seats for Fantasmic (our first time seeing it). Boy am I glad we didn't buy the dinner package! We had good seats without it, plus.... and I am probably in the minority here.... I just didn't like it all that much. I found the music to be WAY too loud (and I love music). It's just too large a production for me. Everything is over the top. At least I know now that I can enjoy the other rides/attractions while everyone else is lining up for it.

Took bus back to the Poly and had snacks in the lounge before hitting the hay.

Tomorrow: laundry and kicking back
