Just wanted to pop in and say hi.We are a former wish family as well.I love to browse the trip reports for wish trips, as it helps us "re -live " our trip a bit.I have been enjoying your report very much.So glad you had a wonderful trip.

Thanx so much for taking the time to read up on our trip. It was a wonderful experience, as I'm sure yours was as well. It's hard to believe we are 6 months post-trip already. Time flies huh? I hope your Wish child is enjoying good health

I really must apologize for not being able to get back to this. We are in the midst of some huge landscaping projects that keep me going much of the day; the kids are winding down at school with countless end-of-the-year activities; we've got dance recitals and piano recitals; Matty just went through a SPED evaluation at school and I've been crazy with all that (a story in and of itself); I'm in the midst of planning all of our summer getaways (gonna make use of that World Passport) as well as two birthday parties........................well, you get the picture. I just cannot find a couple of hours to pull another installment together. But, yes, I am determined!

Just need a couple of really dreary days.

Start doing that rain dance everyone!!!

Hi Pam - I don't get on the boards too often, but have kept up with your wonderful trip report. I was just reading your latest post and decided to give you a little encouragement to finish. I never wanted to hound you because goodness knows I never would have stuck with it as long as you did. I did want you to know though, that your report touches more hearts than you could possibly ever image. I didn't think that you'd remember me, but I figured I'd post anyway. Well, long story short, I logged into my acct and saw that I had an unread pm from April. Imagine my surprise when I saw it was from you. I'm answering it right now when I finish this post.

Anyway, you're report means alot to me & my daughter. We don't care how long it takes to finish. We'll take whatever you're up to giving. I know the effort involved, and Lord knows, it's not like you haven't got other things to occupy your time.

Anyway, hope your family is well and you're enjoying your summer. It will be gone soon enough and then you can get back to long nights at the computer. Take care.

Complete lurker here, but I wanted to tell you I spent the whole day reading your pre-trip report & trip report.
I have been reading with tears in my eyes. What an AMAZING story.
I hope you know how many people Matty's story has touched & I don't think anyone reading will ever be able to see a gingerbread man & not smile & think of him.
Many thanks for giving us all the ability to see the trip thru Matty's eyes (and your whole families). I can't wait to read more.
