Last week, while walking back to our room in the torrential rain, the moleskin shifted on my feet and made a gooey mess inside my croc flops. Anyone know how to get that off without damaging my shoes? I thought about Goo Gone, but I'm not sure if it will do anything to the Crocs or not. Any advice would be appreciated!

Nail polish remover will work, I saw a girlfriend use hers to get we don't know what off some croc sandals. Her shoes were shiny afterward.

If the above solutions do not work, I highly recommend medical tape adhesive remover. You can usually find it with the ostemy supplies at a medical supply store, or you can sweetly ask a nurse friend to snag you some from work.

I use moleskin and medical tape a lot in my line of work, and this adhesive remover works miraculously to take off the residue from both skin and equipment.

In my classroom, we use hand sanitizer to remove tape and glue residue from scissors, tables, chairs, etc. Just squirt some onto a tissue and rub it on the goop. It has alcohol in it, and some types contain moisturizer that helps soften and break up the sticky stuff.

Or if you're a crafter and have Goo Gone, that should work. Or kerosene--same thing.

When I get moleskin goo on my crocs, I use another piece of moleskin to get it off. Stick the new moleskin to the goo and then rip it off sharply. Works every time I've tried it (which is LOTS!).
